Love - the Identifying Mark of Real Christians?

the jws are fond of quoting john 13:35 that love is the identifying mark of the true religion claiming that only they have this love among themselves.

they love each other.. i was reading the gospel of luke today and thought about the words of jesus luke 6:32-35 niv, “if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you?

even sinners love those who love them.

WT History Regarding Vaccination

for those who don't know wt history regarding vaccinations, in the february 4, 1931 edition of the golden age, p. 293, the organization decreed, "vaccination is a direct violation of the everlasting covenant that god made with noah after the flood.".

because of this jws and their children often faked vaccinations for school authorities and the like.

of course, this created serious problems for jws' health.. it also caused legal trouble for jws who were caught disobeying compulsory vaccination laws.

It's interesting to note that the WTS will frequently propose that rank and file JWs must be unconditionally loyal to the organization, even if they are facing mistreatment or even death. Yet the HQ has folded under governmental pressure numerous times and updated its policies when facing sanctions. Is this what Jehovah expects of His 'faithful and discreet slave'? The one who is managing His affairs on Earth until such time as He returns?

What happened to Catholic church bashing.

i remember back in the 80s almost every awake and watchtower magazine, think all, hade an article about how bad and evil catholic church was.

what happened to all the bashing?

was it because people in catholic countries got offended?

Front row seats watching the collapse of watchtower

i’m a pimo ministerial servant and i won’t fade because i want to keep my front row seats watching what happens next few years.. my predictions are that this current governing body will slowly die off and the current younger helpers will be the next gb.

they will eventually have new light that they were wrong about 1914 and the overlapping generations.. the new light will be something on the lines of the last days are now because of king of north king of south pushing each other etc etc.

they will do their very best to burry old literature and try to change the past trying to make it sound like they were right all along just as they have done for 150 years now.

PIMOs may be able to hang in longer if the WTS's struggles get bad enough. They could reach a point where they just want the numbers to look good while they try to keep the ship from sinking. In that case, the pressure would ease on those who are not doing enough to avoid scrutiny.

As for me, I was barely able to keep up when I was PIMI. I can't imagine being PIMO and having to schedule so much time around the meetings and field service, or trying to convince people to study with the JWs when I do not believe in it myself. It's a bridge too far for me.
