  my boyfriend is an ex new jehovah witness and today i got a message from one of his friends asking if i could delete a comment he wrote on one of my pictures because my boyfriends mom is harassing him about it.

  he also basically told me that she has people who added me just to view my profile and let her know!!!!

  she also sends him messages and pictures from the watchtower.

  No, I am reporting the consensus of mental health professionals worldwide: a black and white worldview is not mentally healthy! It does not matter if it's about the law, customs, music ... whatever.

  Rigid, inflexible thinking leads to mental health issues. It is positively correlated with depression, anxiety and Borderline Personality Disorder.

  JD, one of the things I have learned is that being able to accept and deal with ambiguity and uncertainty is a sign of a mentally healthy worldview. In contrast, black-and-white, all-or-nothing thinking associated with the blind acceptance and following of rules is in fact associated with mental illness.

  You might want to give that some thought.

  I'm not familiar with the Lewis case nor do I care to familiarize myself with the details of it.

  As I, and many others here, have clearly said: what is legal is not always right. I've made my well-thought out position on this clear.

  I'm curious. What's your dog in this fight? Why do you care if people "use illegal means while performing their activism"?

  Please explain. It would be very helpful.

  That's your answer?!?

  I think you're just being evasive. So I'll restate my question and revise it for clarity: Why don't the WTBTS' leaders simply just cooperate the first time when asked to by judges via court orders?

  Why obfuscate? Delay? Appeal? If they truly have nothing to hide, why not cooperate and be transparent?
