That bit about "Are there legal concerns?" was an extremely bizarre example of Orwellian Newspeak!
“Of course there are some [legal] concerns, however some benefits are: our data is securely stored, so we can make sure that our data is stored in the most secure fashion available.”
“The reality is we're already doing this for 50% of the publishers in the organization. So we're just extending the number of publisher we are already storing their information for.”
“And then the principle that we’ve been working with the Legal Department on is the principle of 'informed consent,’ and so that’s really the legal basis for us to be able to do this.
“So, although there are legal concerns we are able to address all of those.”
The speaker COMPLETELY AVOIDED DISCUSSING ANY AND ALL LEGAL CONCERNS, but brushed the subject completely away with the above non-answers.
