  i live in the des moines iowa area , i would be interested in doing a kingdom hall crash after watching some on youtube, i would love to do that with a group of people.

  i haven't meet any other ex jw around here.

  i was never baptized, i always knew i could never live up to jehovah's standard so i never did even consider baptizing.

  convention in lowell mass june 15-17 2018...about 4500 in attendance...11 baptized (0.24%)...believe about 6 of those were kids of current jw's..

  0.00244 x 100 = 0.24%

  When I joined this religion in the ‘80s the baptisms were always 1 - 3% of the attendance at conventions and assemblies. Always.

  I clearly remember a dozen years or so ago at an assembly of about 1,500 in a suburban area in California where no one got baptized. No one.

  Several of the long time elders were shocked and visibly disturbed.

  Fay, the linked video is clearly a propaganda piece, but there was nothing in it about selling Kingdom Halls. Do you have a direct link to that info?

  On another note, this video does promote the idea of “filling empty seats” via congregation mergers. What happened to trying to do that by proselytizing?

  I guess they realize that doesn’t happen much any more! 🤣

  “Omit needless words,” advises William Strunk in the original edition of The Elements of Style, a bible for writers. He then says:

  After coming to understand the the WTBTS/JW religion is a corrupt and false cult, I now only believe in things for which their is strong evidence.

  And when I say evidence, I do NOT mean some yahoo saying "Evidently, ..." and then failing to provide any.

  I mean real, substantial, tangible, measurable and repeatably so evidence.
