I doubt she is a JW. If she is she is not one in good standing. They would not sanction this kind of thing unless the cult has really really changed over the years.
Someone doesn't know RubaDub very well!
we have the instructions to not engage in any meetings or outside witnessing.

this video was somewhat revelatory to me.
i knew that fox was a coordinated news outlet but i had no idea it was so rigid.
that's the iron fist of the corporate agenda.
Wow, the irony . . . it burns!
But they are right: This IS extremely dangerous to our democracy.
i guess it's the covid-19 thing.
but very little news from a couple of people i know well there.
they can't leave the "compound" or much of anything else.
RaD: They can't leave the "compound" or much of anything else. Just walk around on some nature trails in the area.
And just imagine doing that for all eternity!
"You Can Live Forever in a Compound in Upstate New York!"
this article seems to confirm what we already knew:.

many of us are confused so this hand-dandy chart may assist.. .
Interesting chart.
Of course the behaviors that are labelled as "Socially Acceptable" acts of Covert White Supremacy are only socially acceptable among "covert" (aka: cowardly) white supremacists.
The rest of us recognize them for what they are: racist behaviors.
hi, i'm looking for the article published in the 90s i think (i was a teenager) and it showed a diagram of the organizational hierarchy, at the top was jesus, then governing body all the way down to publishers it was in a pyramid style org chart.... can someone point me in the right direction?
additionally, does anyone remember the article or any articles that stated how bad it was that other religions had hierarchy like that?
i remember this being discussed at like a watchtower study or maybe it was a bookstudy.... i am on the hunt for another topic to discuss with my jw parents.
This subject came up again in a recent thread about Rolf Furuli's latest book:
Here's my post on that thread:
SBF: Furuli says that Watchtower . . . now resembles the Catholic hierarchy.
They have admitted that in open court. Here is a screenshot from page 9 of Furuli's book:
i agree with people who say all lives matter.
i think blm is a racist group.
if white people pushed an agenda saying white lives matter, some people would have a conniption..
Clarified!

Minimus,
Your response really just proves my point and exemplifies the problem I have with certain of your threads: the ones where you open with a question seemingly inviting discussion but then immediately post your own highly biased opinion, which has a chilling effect on anyone posting a dissenting or differing point of view.
You clearly aren't interested in having a free, open and productive discussion which may include disagreement, rhetorical argumentation and debate. If you were, you would not frame your OPs the way you do.
This is why I have posted as I have on this thread. I think this is a very important topic that needs to be discussed. It's clearly a very complex subject and emotions can run high. All of this emphasizes the need for people to engage in the conversation in a respectful and measured way, freely expressing their points of view while also at least considering the views of others, even when—and perhaps particularly when—they disagree.
If you really and truly "don’t give two shits" about whether I read your threads or not (which I doubt), then you might want to consider simply not responding to any of my posts.

If, on the other hand, you feel the need to continue a dialogue on this particular point, I'd suggest you PM me rather than derail your own thread with our perceived personal differences.
