  the last talk o the saturday convention of jw was already often the centre of discussion, with all the name calling, logical fallacies and fear mongering.

  however, it was interesting, not just what and how splane adressed the matter, also what he actually had to admit.

  1) he had to admit, that the org is actually loosing court battles, left and right.

  The Governing Body hate the fact that they are losing member$. That means cashflow and control for their craziness. At this point, they will make up anything they can. Say what ever. Anything goes.

  there always seems to be someone offended by something.

  in today’s world if you don’t see eye to eye with someone they claim to be offended.

  if you don’t support a cause that someone deems important, they get offended.

  Overrated

  Many of the brothers would wear dress cowboy boots to the meetings. It all was in good taste. Someone didn't like it and cried to some higher up in the Org. A OC had a talk about dress and grooming on the subject. We still wore our boots didn't care who got offended.

  Back in 83' when I was baptized as Jw after growing into it at 100%. But after two years of the flip-flopping, favoritism among the the organization and demands for time and more money. It went from 100% to -negative 100 % in. I don't want any thing to do with the slamballs known as Gee-hovah Witnesses.

  i didn’t hear any about me, my dad was there to squash any of that.

  but, a guy who left on his 18th birthday, moved cross country, had the rumor started (by elders), that he was now in prison for selling cocaine.

  It is not god who is heartbroken, it's the Org losing someone they had control over. Who saw the man behind the curtain. They lost money.
