Governing Body Update #9...Jehovah is guiding his people during the pandemic
by RULES & REGULATIONS indavid splane starts off with, ''i thought we might reflect on jehovah's goodness and the way he's been guiding his people during the pandemic.''.
not once in his talk does he mention that jehovah would give all members a super immune system that would fight off the virus.
neither does he mention that jehovah would reduce positive covid-19 numbers, hospital admissions and covid-19 deaths of his people.. mr. splane: how does the almighty, all knowing jehovah guide his people during the pandemic?.

Recent Annual Meeting - Asking for Clarification
by truth_b_known inwould someone in the know please clarify for me some alleged comments given from the governing body at the recent/yet to be streamed for the rank and file annual meeting?.
it is my understanding that samuel herd basically tells the rank and file that old light is new light and the new light of july, 2013 is now old light.
to be specific, herd states that the official stance on whether or not the annointed remaining on earth, to include the governing body, will all be in heaven prior to armageddon.. at this same annual meeting tony morris iii tells those in attendance that stephen letts' statement that "we're living in the final part of the last days, undoubtedly the final part of the final part of the last days!

Just love Watchtower 's frowning on higher education. It is not for spiritual reasons, but to keep members good and stupid, depend on Watchtower. But once you gain higher education (namely) the ability to think clear you start to see holes in their stuff,lies and things that don't make any sense. Then you come to the conclusion that they are parasites on society.

she sued, and the case was dismissed by a district court.
now it's heard by the ninth circuit.

Sounds like she is trying to turn a buck from nothing. Opportunities to increase her cashflow. Will she donate if she win to Watchtower? She doesn't want to come to Gee-hober empty handed mind you.

Demons. Afraid or not?
by punkofnice inwhen i was a jobot i had the fear of demons rammed down my throat.. now i am without any faith, i don't have that fear because it seems irrational.
a fairy tale from the minds of some weirdo.. now i don't have to worry about buying stuff 2nd hand.. it always amused me how some jobots would pooh pooh charity (goodwill to my american cousins), shops or 2nd hand shops in case demons inhabited a jumper or a chest of drawers.
yet at the same time they'd buy a 2nd hand car.

I think( I only think) there is good and evil in everything. It is hard to say if demons are here or not since I have not had any contact with any. Except my evil ex mother in -law could be said to be the devil in human form. If your fear the dark than expect to be attacked.

If Ever GB Members Deserved To Be Thrown in Jail It's When ...
by smiddy3 init was when the governing body started to disfellow-ship jehovah`s witnesses from taking blood transfusions in an effort to save their lives .. resulting in many hundreds if not thousands of needless deaths of men women and children who by this coercion died from this doctrine.. and to this day they still go unpunished .

Watchtower Study on 5th December.
by Lost in the fog inthe wt study for this week is all about disfellowshipping.
in an early paragraph it said "think how heartbroken jehovah must have been when members of his own angelic family turned their back on him!".
however when you think about it, when this happened according to the wt teaching, jehovah still engaged with satan in the heavens (book of job) and had conversations with him about what was going on in the earth.. so why do the wt org practice shunning when jehovah god obviously didn't?.

When I was living at home with my parents. My parents told me to do Watchtower stuff as longer as I live under their roof. Basically, fake it to make it till I'm out on my own. Now 30 years later, they want me to "Return to Gee-hober " because the world is so bad and we are so close to the end. More like the Org is loosing numbers and Donations.

Longhairgal- I was told by a " Pioneer " that I was materialistic for having a career. But he wanted deep discounts when his junket car needed repairs by me. Just unbelievable! I would help people from time to time, but some wanted a free bee. Then, I would hire some of them and they would turn out to be the most laziest workers ever, but they wanted to be paid good wages. And very flakey about attendance. I prefer to hire "Worldly " people. Less stress. -
