  Dimwits running the show

  i often found that there were some real dimwits that thought they were marvellous.

  a sort of dunning kruger spectrum going on.. donkeys leading princes.

  Overrated

  Two things I learned growing up as a JW.

  1) Watchtower, anything JW related is a big waste of time, money and energy.

  2) Watchtower is a Con. It cons people out of time and especially money for their ever growing real estate portfolio. Nothing they print or teach is worth anything! Just make empty promises to people just to make a profit.

  on one hand: you will be judged the way you are judging, but twice "david" is seen as needlessly killing or intending to kill people for minor transgression, .

  Geoffrey Jackson- soliciting?

  i listened to geoffrey jackson’s latest talk “assisting our brothers materially “.

  jackson presented some arguments, one of which was….jesus did not stop the widow from putting money in the contribution box in the temple.

  basically saying regardless of your financial situation you have to donate.

  As a very young Jw, I could never figure out why the Powerful God of The Universe, Gee-hovah, had so much trouble with money or the need for money. Could he just turn stones into gold if he needs too?

  It's all about status and rank in the Kingdumb hall. Since I'm out. Self employed and drive a Benz, I got sisters in my active brother 's hall flirting with me. "Ooh, you should return to Jeehober and settle down with a fine "Christian " wife!" Sounds like there is not enough brothers in the hall.

  Overrated

  Watchtower = 0 value. They frowned on higher education which I can be self reliant. Now that I'm self reliant, and have money, they want me to "Return" and give them money. I can't and won't help them.

  Be careful Steve Harvey, Watchtower does not like it's good name "ruined " by whistleblowers and they may take legal action on things said.

  hello to all you good people.

  an elder who i knew in my jw days has just been employed at my place of work.

  now i want to be prepared for him when he encourages me to return to jehovah.

  Overrated

  I would agree on the post. He will try his darndest to get you to "Return to,Gee-hovah " even during working hours. I have seen it and dealt with it first hand. If he starts with his stuff during work hours you can go to your Supervisor or HR Dept and start a record. Tell him you do not want to discuss your beliefs with him, period. End of story. If he persists, file a complaint.
