When they where cart witnessing I would get in their face an expose all their stuff that they get so uncomfortable they end up packing up and leaving.

Some elders tried to get my back to the meetings and such. I told them I would return if they would make me the "Boss" the only Governing Body member. They went way and have never came back.

In my case, I stopped all Jw activities. I don't know if they did their little announcement, don't give a sh!t if they did. Was force fed that crap from birth and could not wait to get away from it.

A Gem I over heard at my fathers mid week meeting
by joe134cd ini overheard this, while my father was listening to the mid week zoom meeting.
apparently all the reshuffling with the bethelites having to do their own food prep and washing was because it would free up space for better utilisation, and bethelites who were needed for these jobs could now be out in the field ministry.
omg😳 i also chocked when i heard that.

Oh that's really bad news. Does the Governing Body do their own meal prep and clean up or make their own bed?

I have to laugh at Watchtower. Where is this great increase? More like a great decrease. And people don't see the bullshit.

I love to see Watchtower loose money/membership, shows that finally people are waking up.

What JW Subjects Interest You The Most On This Site? What Doesn’t??
by minimus ini like subjects that delve into the history of the religion and proofs that the witnesses are not the true religion.
i’m not so much into apologists saying we need to go to meetings, especially if the poster looks like a scammer trying to get ex jws going.
what subjects interest you ?

I remember getting a copy of the Watchtower "What is God's Kingdom?" I wrote all over the cover in red ink that it's a delusional dream by some elites to enslave you into poverty.

Are Jehovah’s Witnesses Wrong Regarding Staying Out of Politics?
by minimus inwe were told we were part of the world if we got involved in politics.
if we had employment that had political involvement we were instructed to get another job.
we were told we might be considered disassociated if we voted and then it became questionable.

It's funny how they want to be no part of politics when it suits them but when it comes down to their "rights" they are all political. Put the rank and file have no rights if you decide to leave.

Should I continue to help an "unbelieving" husband?
by RiverPeace ini know there are a lot of 'wise heads' out there on this forum - so i would appreciate your suggestions.. several years ago, i studied with a guy, whose wife is a jw.
(he had studied with several elders before i came along).
the study went reasonably well.

Patients and asking thinking questions will get the ball rolling on what is for real and what is made up. I did this on my own, questions and questions and it became clear what was all made up. I decided I have no longer any ground to believe in this group.
