  Japan closed 638 Congregations why??

  japan had huge publisher growth till the year 1998.. 1998 - 222,912 publishers 3802 congregations.. 6 years passed.. 2004 - 217,555 publishers (-5,357) 3,164 congs.

  what was the reason?

  I worked for a Japanese/American Brother who just always talked about how superior the Japanese Brothers were compared to the American Brothers. Also, made general comparisons of Japanese and American people. In your face dude. I think their good and all races. People are waking up in Japan, like everywhere. It's all good!

  Overrated

  My sentiment too, let the brothers support them. With the denying or frowning on higher education just to pursue needs of the Watchtower only to get the axe afterward with nothing does not get my sympathy. When I was " Pioneering " I got no support from anyone but they always wanted more. I wanted to go to college to get a better job but the cry baby elders didn't like that. What, I was supposed to live the rest of my life with my parents and pioneer? I think not! Glad I'm out.

  Longhairgal- I'm so glad I never pursued Bethel. I had enough abuse from it Org and didn't need anymore disappointment. You know serve Gee-hober, he'll provide! Right!?!

  The Watchtower wants yes men or women who would brainlessly do what ever Watchtower wants of them regardless of cost or life. And, ooh by the way they have to give Watchtower their hard earned money for such a privilege.

  My late father who was a crazy Jw tried to get me to "return to Gee-hober " asked me what I thought of the Trooth. I said it's an oxymoron. Makes nosense!

  Overrated

  Growing up in the "trooth " you could not ask questions. Do many questions and they would have you on the trouble maker list. If you had any brain cells and was a thinker you where considered not humble enough. Education is strongly discouraged. The Great Gee-hober wants idiots to serve him, or yes men to hand over their money to the Org.
