The weirdness of posting here
by waiting inhey, katchoo!.
it's really weird being in the basement area.
kinda like hiding out from the group....... be aware, as i learned, that if we speak here, anybody on the web can read what we say.. i did not suspect it was an orgy until three days later.

seven - your cyber kiss made my day - i think i'm in cyber love - sometimes the fantasy is better than the real thing.
Anyway i meant to ask - with the painting, are you formally trained? reason for asking is - if so i can't imagine the bro's taking too kindly to someone going down that path, you know with the end being so near at all - SolidSender

Waiting - excellent point and exactly what I was attempting to say. I was thinking the same in regard to war veterans etc. Re: your quote:
The reason why the differences? No one knows.
I'll hazard a guess and say because everyone is a unique individual.
Another thing I remembered and I'm sure a lot of other people here can add similar experiences. I had two close personal JW friends, both from the same congregation committ suicide after being DF'd. ( not together or at the same time ) I was fairly intimate with their emotional conditions. Both were roughly around 30 years old.
I guess it's difficult to get more anguished than that.-SolidSender

Wierd KH property arrangement
by Simon inmy wife's congregation recently bought some land to build a new kh on it but then signed over the ownership to an offshore company controlled by the wtb&ts.
they were told that it would make it harder to 'grab' when 'the persecution begins'.. has anyone else heard anything like this?.
it sounds like a way of getting real-estate to me and from what i've heard, sounds a bit dodgy.

Waiting – as you know there are people here who push my “aggro” buttons as to why I’ll use the xandit example. Please consider it:
I do not believe that a persons knowing more about the property acquisition methods of a New York based publishing company (the WTBTS )
1) has anything to do with christianity
2) makes that person more equal before god and christ than myself
3) that an accurate knowledge of those WTBTS property acquisition procedures will contribute to my spirituality.Unless there’s scriptures in my bible that are missing.
In my humble opinion the profundity of christianity lies in a comprehension of it’s simplicity not the complex legalisms of a New York based publishing company.
If you wish to subscribe to that brand of christianity, if you really believe it’s as hard as people like friend and xandit would have us believe then that is your perogative. I don’t.
I also have no interest in wasting my breath on people like xandit & friend whose minds, in my opinion are filled with nothing but second hand ideas hell bent on suppressing tolerance.-SolidSender

Waiting, good hearing from you again.
Firstly if I may say so in response to your statement:
Unless your picture is ancient - which I don't think it is, I remain doubtful that you would have an "enormous amount of experience" in the area of identifying and combating mind control. No doubt, being a JW gives experience, but that usually takes years, if not decades, - and usually an adult perspective to look in hindsight as to the impact upon your and your family's life.
This seems a rather broad generalization to me.
My opinion is that proclivities within people vary on an individual basis. How would you explain prodigies then?More stuff I want to discuss with you I’ll catch you on the other threads we’ve been following. (if I can locate it) .
See you there-SolidSender
