The government is interested in all this data too. I mean you can't really expect them not to be, I'm sure they like to feed that data through some supercomputer AI to extrapolate the data useful to them.

If You Criticize A Person of Color Are You A Racist?
by minimus inseriously, it’s getting to a point that you can’t make a negative comment about someone without being charged as a racist, homophobe or sexist!
if you criticize a female, you are obviously sexist.
if you criticize someone who happens to be gay, you must hate homosexuals.

I think it is a proven fact that if you confront a person and call him a racist over his racist comment he made he will most likely deny it and depending on how threatened he feels about being called a racist he may go on the counter offensive and call the confronter racist.
You most likely are not going to get a confession and a miraculous turn around from the accused during a reelection campaign that would be political suicide. I'm dying to see how Trump plays out his hand on this one he might surprise all of us.

True calling women fat and ugly and grabbing them by genitals doesn't make you a racist, it makes you insulting, crude, insensitive, and other things, like being prone to thoughtless insensitive statements that may cause others to easily label you as a racist.
As far as the his comments to Cummings, and the 4 congress women I see racism in those comments when comparing them to his past insulting statements and actions. It's his pattern that adds fuel to these statements labeling him as a racist.

If you criticize a person of color are you a racist?
Not in every case obviously.
Example: You tell a person of color they were being rude, or harsh for something they said or done doesn't make that you a racist even if your skin is not the same color. Criticizing some one of a different color does not automatically put some in the category of a racists.
Now with regards our Prez telling different members of congress to go back to the country they came from or parents or grandparents came from, I think that type of criticism shows shades of racism. I'm pretty sure Trump is a racist because His dad was one he even marched in a KKK protest and by his comments to others calling women fat and ugly, grabbing them by the pussy, telling House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings, D-Md. that his district in Baltimore rat infested mess where no human being would want to live, gotta admit sounds racist to me.

Yeah I think Trump is a Narcissist not to mention a extreme Black and White thinker and that's what makes his comments sound so racist. He is also in serious denial about so many things it would be very hard for him to see where his comments sound so racist.
What's the Scottish proverb?
"From many a blunder free us to see ourselves as other see us" or something like that. Personal bias is a bitch which is the reason we all have a Shadow(Jungian).

Why are they still so obsessed with Dr Spock?
by purrpurr incomment in today's wt, was about dr spock, and his book "that every parent in the world read" apparently (!).
if it wasn't for the wt's obsessions with the guy i would have no idea who he was, neither i suspect would the vast majority of the congregation.
there has been a mass of parenting books written since and yet they keep harking back to this one.. do they have no idea how out of touch this makes them seem?.

No that was before Spock, he was for more spontaneity in dealing with children, he was blamed for a more permissive society in the 60s free love and drugs.

Benjamin Spock was famous and changed the way we care for children. Yeah his anti-spanking policy put at odds with WTB&TS.

Are You Happy With The Country You Live In?
by minimus ini live in the usa.
is it perfect!
nope.
-
Humphry
Being happy with the country you live can also be an indicator of being self sufficient, how about a crippled person should his happiness depend government assistance, or if one is approaching retirement and has property and a good retirement fund they paid into in those lack of income working years.
Also being honest with one's self is not very easy.
I would think also that Maslow's hierarchy of need being met and how far up it you can climb, have a lot to do with being happy with one's country of residence.

Min, that is a very hard question for me to answer. If you asked: Are happy in the country you are living in? I could easily answer yes with hardly any reservations. I've gotten used to most conditions where I live. As far as the political environment of the US where I live it is acceptable and I have no complaints, I wish all my neighbors happiness for their future what ever it may be. So maybe that's a Yes to your question?
