  Unbelievable! No special relationship? I find that simply amazing considering the society claims to be equal to God, and they are to be obeyed NO MATTER WHAT by their members! This is information to print out and save!

  I'm so sorry for what you must have felt when you were treated as if you did something wrong when you were molested. It must have been pure hell for you to sit there and take that kind of treatment after getting up the courage to tell what this sick person did to you. And to find out that he would only be PRIVATELY reprooved, and you PUBLICLY must have made you sick! My heart goes out to you, and I'm so glad you were able to get out from the contol of the borg.

  here are a few notes i took at the friday session of the 2001 "teachers of god's word" district convention.

  i thought i would share these upbuilding theocratic point with my new friends, along with my thoughts as i was listening to the program.

  1st instruction of the day: sing loudly and listen to the prayer!

  thank you, LMR. Yes! please keep them coming throughout the convention. I, for one, appreciate it. I like to keep up with the newest light from the "Teachers Of God's Word". hey, ya never know when the teachers will change God's word again!

  i'm not being a pervert, really.

  i was just wondering whether there was a psychological explanation for why people (women, i think) experience sex, when there's nobody physically there.. there's a lot made of this in dubdom, so i'm thnking there couldbe a connection with the dub 'culture'.. just curious.. philo (honestly, but still a male)

  The Rainbow as a sign to Noah

  i don't know if this has ever been brought out - i just thought of it:.

  the bible tells us that it rained for forty days and forty nights.. it stopped raining and noah & co floated around for a bit.. when they landed, noah sacrificed some of the animals (weren't they in short supply?

  ) and god promised never to bring a deluge upon then earth again.. to back this up, there was a rainbow in the sky as a sign.. now, what causes a rainbow?

  That is an interesting thought. I always thought that the rainbow was a promise from God that the earth would never be destroyed by FLOOD/RAIN again. Not that it wouldn't be destroyed again. That explained to me why the Paradise book and the truth book and all the rest had fire and bombs in them. Not rain. I have to read the Hebrew scriptures again, because I never knew that Noah sacraficed all the animals. I've been so preoccupied with the Greek scriptures and the whole reason WHY God gave his Son's life for all humans and the purpose, that I've neglected the Hebrew scriptures. It'll be a long haul!
