  Christmas Shopping

  dear all.

  i'm a new chap here, one of the old h2o refugees who seem to have been streaming to this place recently.. englishman suggested i post my "christmas shopping" post as a kind of introductory-hi-and-how-are-you.

  hope you like it, despite it not being terribly seasonal at the moment.. i'll look forward to posting here in the future (original stuff i mean, not just reheated "greatest hits" like this).

  Angharad, that was cute! Duncan should make that the title of the story. It fits the story better.

  Masturbation

  the title of this thread was one of the stumbling blocks of my study.

  as a single full time father(with no time for dating)of a soon to be tenage son this was a major point of imprt to me.

  the point came up during a discussion on porneia(sp?).

  I have a 19 year old son, and a daughter about to turn 17. I never brought up the subject of masturbation with them, because of the same reason that larc said. It's a natural part of life,and not only for teens, but for adults too. I think it's natural for males and females, married or single, young or old, heterosexulas or homosexuals. I don't know about anyone else, but I've never heard of masturbation ruining or causing problems in a marriage. If anything, I think it's the opposite.

  I'm happy to say that I now advise my son that masturbarion is a normal healthy way to release sexual tension, as long as it is done dicsretely and in private.

  I also would think that it would be unnatural for teens or adults to do it undiscreetely ( is that a word? ) or out in the open with other folks around. :-)

  not sure if the "real farkel" is he or not. if you read some of his posts on the new H20 you might get a clue. maybe not though, like I haven't. he is either in love, or it isn't really him. :-) Uncle Bruce may know if it's him or not.

  You see that they NEVER mention what is best for the child in the PCCC booklet. They no NOTHING about the marriage and relationship, and what the child may be living through. the booklet is strictly published for a JW in a court room with child custody being decided by the court. watchtower trying to be laywer now....right down to giving examples of what NOT to say, and what TO say! It's a matter of JW vrs non-JW to them. they don't bother to even TRY to ....ah..nevermind. I hope the family courts get ahold of the booklet!
