  Their whole disfellowshipping process AND their reistatement process AND their 170-something questions before a person can be baptised AND their whole "apply and either be rejected or approved" to go and preach for as many hours as a a person wishes to AND their updated version of the "good news" to be preached that the WTS admits goes BEYOND what Christ's first century followers preached AND their teaching that their "great crowd" of followers "bow down to", spiritually , to the group of fellow humans who make up the WTS INC's faithful and discreet slave AND also teaching that their "great crowd" render sacred service accaptable to God ONLY in assocation with that group of humans that make up the WTS INC's faithful and discreet slave. ....and the list goes on and on and on.

  Going out with a bang

  after much deliberation, i decided to go "out" at the end of a public talk.

  it didn't go down too well, but at least i was able to give some of my reasons for leaving.. i've put some of the details on my homepage.

  i'll update it more when i get the time and the strength.

  I remember listening to your talk as if it were yesterday. Time flies by so quickly!! I thought your talk was wonderful and I think you are fortunate that you got the chance to state your mind and beliefs and reasons for walking away, before leaving, and took full advantage of that. Not many have that opportunity ( especailly women, because they are not allowed to address the congregation with talks, but have to talk to EACH OTHER in skit fashion)

  I pray that you and your wife have made it through this. So many marriages have ended simply because it was found that their marriage was "organizational" ? Not sure how to word what I'm trying to get across! But that is the best word I can use, knowing others whose marriages were based on both being in the WT organization, rather than based on the love that two become one. Anyway, either way, I wish for you both love and happiness in all aspects of your life.

  THE SON JUST AS THEY HONOR THE FATHER" Just my thoughts this week that I wanted to share..... October 15,1971 Watchtower p. 627 ***Are the Churches Leading the Nations into Collision with God?*** "MAINLY, what the people believe about God they have learned from the churches, or from what church leaders have said or done. But have they really learned the truth about God? Or have they received a distorted picture? If one reads about God purely from the Bible, does its portrayal of God collide with what the churches teach and do?" Here is what I read about God purely from the Bible: John 5:22-23 22 For the Father judges no one at all, but he has committed all the judging to the Son, 23 in order that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He that does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. Here is what I read taught by the church leaders of the Jehovah's Witnesses: 10/1/00 Watchtower... Study?Rewarding and Enjoyable "12 To comprehend such ?deep things of God,? it is necessary to study prayerfully and reflect on his Word. For example, fine material has been published that shows how Jehovah can at once be just and merciful. His exercising of mercy is not a watering down of his justice; rather, divine mercy is an expression of God?s justice as well as his love. When judging a sinner, Jehovah first determines whether it is possible to show mercy on the basis of his Son?s ransom sacrifice. If the sinner is unrepentant or rebellious, God allows justice to take its course without unwarranted mercy. Either way, he is faithful to his elevated principles. (Romans 3:21-26) ?O the depth of God?s wisdom!??Romans 11:33." And here is something else I read by the church leaders of Jehovah's Witnesses regarding ALL MAY honor the Son JUST AS they honor the Father: *** re chap. 7 Rekindle That First Love! *** [Box on page 36] Loving Praise to Jehovah and His Son " In the songbook produced by Jehovah?s people in 1905, there were twice as many songs praising Jesus as there were songs praising Jehovah God. In their 1928 songbook, the number of songs extolling Jesus was about the same as the number extolling Jehovah. But in the latest songbook of 1984, Jehovah is honored by four times as many songs as is Jesus. This is in harmony with Jesus? own words: ?The Father is greater than I am.? (John 14:28) " Seems to me that the leaders of the JWs have taken away what God committed to his Son IN ORDER THAT ALL JWs do not honor the Son JUST AS they honor the Father. And here is what I learned from the Church leaders of Jehovah's Witnesses, stating the truth about where everything a Jehovah's Witness learns comes from: *** km 4/93 p. 3 ?To the House of Jehovah Let Us Go? *** "3 Direct Interest to the Organization: From our initial contact with interested persons, we should be directing their attention to the organization. While we may be able personally to locate scriptures and explain fundamental doctrines, we are not the source of such knowledge. Everything we have learned has come from the organization,.." Jehovah's Witnesses cannot honestly say that everything they have learned is purely from them reading the Bible, can they? And they also can't honestly say that they don't have human leaders, can they? Is Christ directing "the organization" to ignore that the Father judges no one at all, but committed ALL THE JUDGING to the SON in order that nobody honors the Son just as they do the Father? peace, somebody P.S.   Congratulations to the two of you from my heart.

  ONE person alone ( no matter if male or female) sees and feels so many changes happening to their very souls and beings in the passing of 20 years. I'm so happy two souls became one and LIVED throughout those changes in the TWO lives. It truly expalins how two beings become one, through good and bad happenings in two lives, blended together to make ONE.

  just a reminder: the w network documentary airs across canada on monday, april 12, 10:30 pm est (that's two weeks tonight).

  it's called family secrets: our episode's title: when nobody's looking.

  they already have been showing the commerical which includes scenes from our episode.

  Visit From Elders

  it's been awhile since i've been on here.

  due to death in the family, chicken pox in children and other nasty things.. i posted here awhile ago about things i had found the unsettled me.

  i was due to have a visit from two elders and a lot of you gave me lots of help and encouragement.. well, the two elders visited and i have to admit that it was nothing like i expected.. they sat down, and told me straight away that there was nothing i could say or ask that would hurt me.

  Funny how the WT didn't use the term the "God's ONLY channel of communication " or the 'faithful and discreet slave" either. I'll have to go back and read if they ever used the term 'the Society"when supposedly "took resposnibilty".

  i'm happy that you had to understanding elders and I'm thankful that your husband was present. Please be aware that if those elders discuss what was said during the visit with a PO or DO, it may not be left alone. The elders may be back to ask you the dreaded question. Which i'm sure will not be worded as follows...

  Do you believe that the persons having to do with the publication of the information are the only channel God is using for communication?

  does nayone happen to have reference to the article that the wts basically told it's adherents not to view fellow jws who obtained a "scriptural divorce" back in the years that the elders policed the marriage bed of jws?

  what i mean is that jws back in the days of the say.... 60s and 70s... approx.

  , who wanted to do what was right in the eyes of the society god sought divorces over certain sexual relations with their marriage partners if their partners wished to be stimulated in certain ways the society god did not apporove of back then between a married couple's private realationship.. .

  The other issue was that anyone who had gotten a divorce on the grounds of the WTs definition of pornea in the early 70's and had subsequently remarried new partrners were not to feel guilty over the new light. They had been faithful to the old light and that was good enough for God.

  THAT is what I'm talking about! Do you have the quote or reference from the WTS stating that? Or was it only in a letter to those that held titles such as elders, do'd po's and others of prominent postions to read?
