as far as my pit being a working dog; I take him up to my freinds property to pull logs out of the woods to be cut into firewood. No joke, all i have to do is tie a rope around the log; tell'em, get the rope boy, and up the hill he pulls the log [8-10 inch diameter x6-8 feet long]. Of course he just thinks it's a game that we PLAY.

again dogs act the way they are trained to act.As a matter as fact my dog definatly wimpers & crys for attention more than he barks. Also if all the other dogs in the neighborhood are barking, Tiger doesn't. he knows when someones around but refuses to bark until they are within 6 feet of the fence/house.

does anyone own a watch dog, paticularly a doberman pinscher?

some on this board know i love animals and i lost my bingo cat last year.

i really loved him to death but i have to admit that when it came to giving affection...forget it.

Dogs are what you want them to be. my amstaff is my freind & really the most he would do is knock you over and lick you to death!

all the myths about these dogs are not true. just be sure to sosialize them while they're young, and make sure you have alot of time to play with them. they remain in the puppy play frame of mind all of their life.

I have children also, and my Tiger is their best freind

i feel the need for a rant!

i had a conversation with my jw elder father tonight that has left me seething.

just to set the scene, i left the jws back in 1994. i was baptized, having been dfd and reinstated a couple of years prior to my final exit in 94. i was never dfd again and pretty much left to my own devices.

WTS Publications NOT printed on re-cycled paper?

maybe it's just my observation, but wts magazines and books are not printed on re-cycled paper.

can this be proven to be true?

SOULJAH: ok maybe they didn' outright say no, but they did lay a heavy guilt trip on you
DAD: no they said according to your needs to support your self because some parents were sending their kids for a prestige thing or bragging rights your mother and i never said anything to the contrary you had a hard time in regular school and besides we couldn't afford to pay for one you would have to get a scholarship or pay your own way:-D
DAD: the society has never laid a guilt trip on anyone they only provide you with information to help you make your own choices based on the scriptures and your goals for the future:-D
SOULJAH: yeah school probably would have been a lot more fun for me if i recieved your patcience and time to sit down and work through some of my challenges in a cival manner, instead of beating me for bad grades
SOULJAH: actually i did bring up college when i started kenwood high. I remember cause you guys were so mad at me cause i didn't try to go to EVT, "where all the other wittness kids went"
DAD: some people take it upon themselves to try and tell whatothers what they think you should do according to what "they feel" is what you should do:-D
SOULJAH: & I do remember all the parts given at the assemblies, discouraging you from getting further education
DAD: mike when you came back to baltimore you were already having dealings with things that your mother and i didn't know how to cope with and you were aready trying to establish your own identy whether you realize it or not/they never discouraged you from furthering your education just try to remember ti's purpose is to support yourself and a family see you missed that point sounds like you been talking to someone else who didn't get it either:-[
