any suggestion on how to resign as a jw?.

what would you say in your registration letter?.

Dear Meseluna,

Don't play the game, there is no need to resign. You have to understand the stigma that will be attached to you and the gossip that will go on in your cong. as far as a D.A. letter. The brothers and sisters won't show mercy or understand because they have been conditioned this way. What you need to do if you disagree with the society just simply let no one know your business. You don't want to lose your family, friends or others you care about. Because wants you've cut off the lines of communication as it will certainly happen to you if you send a D.A letter, you want to help see diffrent ones how hateful this practice is of shunning while you might have a problem accepting diffrent things for the society. By all means don't get trapped into playing this game. Just go away quietly and keep silence then nobody can label you and you will have more peace.

okay, here is a few questions concerning women that i would like a little help with.. supposing your trying to get some lady's attention because your interested in her, what is a good approach without sounding to cheesy?

Dear Waiting,

I have no problem with dancing. In fact I get right in the party when I get going. I even do the kareoke thing wants in a while and actually had beer bought for me and song requests from complete strangers. I don't think they were taking pity on me either, well ok the odd time I goofed on a song.

Writing private letters to the Society.

for anyone who's ever written something of a private nature or asked clarification on certain beliefs have you ever had the unfortunate experience of the elders calling you in the back room or a sheperding call ?.

the reason i bring this out is that newer brothers or sisters don't know that everytime you write the society the society sends a copy of your letter to your local cong.

I never asserted or even said that. You are trying to put your own interpretation of my comment, in fact I gave you the example of Naaman on how Jehovah took the initiative to bring this man to a knowledge of Him even though this man probably knew very little of Him.

You also said:" Your example of the Pharisees is totally flawed. They received their riches by harming others, and they received back exactly what they had given."

Uhh??? You mean to tell me the scribes and pharisees didn't enrich themselves by their warped teachings such as Mark 7:11 and Luke 20:46-47 and Matt 21:12-13?

Basically Redhw you must of misread a lot of my post and just want to say Jehovah is a hearer of prayers if it's his will to answer someone who is a JW or non-Jw He will. But you also have to remember that satan will keep his empire going right down to the end and will support and fill needs where they need to be filled to keep people in darkness with false religion. That doesn't mean that Jehovah refuses to hear prayers coming from people that are stuck in satan's empire. Like I said before if it's His will He will answer.

i have just gained a new little girl.

my wife bore an 8lb baby girl with many complecations.

the majority were taken care of with surgery but she is also deaf.

Thanks for the advice folks,

I also want to tell you that I use to go out with a sister who I continually use to argue with over nothings. My relationship lasted for about 3yrs. I knew after a while that we could never be together so I decided to break it off. It was extremely difficult but it was the right thing to do, if I would of married her it would of been a disaster.

One thing I could never understand about her is why she would flip out over little things and be really angry at me when things were going so right. It always seemed she wanted to ruin a perfectly good day. Well wouldn't you know it after I broke up with her I found out thru her brother that this sister had a clinical depression. To be more specific she was diagnosed years ago as a manic depressive. Now I finally put the pieces together as to why we had so many arguments and her mood swings but never once did she tell me about her condition, I think in all fairness she should of told me after the length of time we dated. I realize some have to cope with a lot in this system of things.
