Nice summary of your location. To be more specific I would like to live anywhere summer stays all year round. Florida would be nice, but as long as I didn't see snow flakes. I can take the heat, I thrive on it! First time I hear of Pameltto bugs but as long as they don't bite me I won't bite them. Oh ya, I don't mind hot foods!

My trade certificate is stationary engineering ( Looking after power plant equipment) But I'm adaptable, I can do almost anything. My goal is just to establish myself in one location and eventually open a business. I have something in mind but I would rather start a job and give my 100% so I can make connections and at the same time get a residency from immigration for they have certain rules and regulations as far as investing in the U.S.A. I want to make sure I follow the law of the U.S.A. it's such a great country.

I'm looking to work down south as I can't take the winters here anymore. I have a trade certificate but can do many jobs. If I did get hired I could fill out the necessary paper work and red tape to get a work permit from immigration and dept of labor.

simon i'm sorry i don't mean to rain on your parade but you have to remember the society and your local elders watch for stuff like that.

this is a very liberal board as far as discussions go and forever thankful for that, but you have to be careful because you could face a jd meeting.

i'm sure everyone is well aware that some posts on this board just wouldn't go over to well with the society.

I agree with you to a certain point, for we all have diffrent needs. Sometimes it has to do with a meeting of the minds to cure that loneliness. I've seen real tall handsome men with nothing upstairs and likewise with women, I personally have felt very lonely in my last relationship, she was really a good looking girl, but there is no way I could be with her.

Look for internet bashing at district assemblies.

i have no doubt in my mind that the society will bash the internet with a part at the district assemblies.

the reason i say this is because if you look at the worldwide reports there has been a decline in publishers in the more industrialized countries who have access to the internet.. some of the brothers and sisters are finding out the contradictions that we hold in regards to some of our teachings and the constant change of views on issues of voting, blood, donations, new light ect.... for example do any of you know that in bulgaria you will not be disfellowshipped if you take a blood transfusion.

yes that's right, you will not be disfellowshipped because the society signed a document with the european commission promising not to take sanctions against any of it's members if they choose to take blood, in exchange for legal status in that country.

Very few of your local elders are aware the society has done this, and are shocked and surprise when they check in with the society and receive a confirmation along with an excuse.

So you see they have no choice but to bash the internet, we are finding out to many hidden secrets.

Look for parts on bashing websites owned by brothers and sisters and copyright infringements of the society's publication.( It's funny how Jehovah God has no problem with distributing His Holy Word worldwide in as many countries as possible in as many languages as possible. Because it is a life saving message, I think copyright is the last thing on Jehovah's mind.)

Also look for a lot of guilt trippings such as :

" Strong brothers and sisters devote more time to study, service...and less time on the internet."

"Would we want to associate with bad company...on the internet..."

"Many have left their mates because ...of the internet."

"Would you want to stumble a brother or a sister ...on the internet?"

So you get the picture.
But I'm sure there will be good parts too, so make sure you reserve your motel accomadations early.
