OMG...thats about all I have to say.

I posted this and then me and Moe went out to the book store and then for a bite to eat and I get home and realize you all love me enough to post. I feel so special

I must say..there is a hot bunch of people posting on this forum. My my my!!!

I learned so much about everyone....Muuuaaaahhhh (now for my evil plot..lol)

2. What is your sun sign? I am a sagittarrius

3. What is your poison of choice? (aka alcoholic drink of choice) I enjoy beer (Rolling Rock, Red Stripe and Erdinger) and I just love a Midori Margarita

4. The one celebrity that you would sleep with if you could? Males- Heath Ledger, Female-Tori Amos

5. Musical Inspiration? Mine are Nirvana, Tori Amos and Madonna (don't ask..lol)

6. What is your favorite movie? I would say it a close call between The Princess Bride and Lost Highway

7. Do you prefer to be too hot or too cold? I would rather freeze anyday

have you ever got a gentle wiff of a really nice cologne and wanted to ask the owner what the name of it is??

if its a woman i will ask, only because i want to go out and buy some.

a child has been sharing milk from a bowl with a group of "holy" rats at an indian temple.. hundreds of rats live undisturbed at the karni mata hindu temple in deshnoke, rajasthan.. .

it's known locally as "rat temple".. the high priests protect the rats because their bodies are thought to house the souls of dead worshippers.. there are special holes allowing the rats to move around the temple.. it's said if you spot a white rat, you'll have good luck.

i'm absolutely disgusted as what the gb members are letting go on inside the organization with regards to pedophiles, but i guess it shouldn't come as any great surprise after all the other crap they've pulled over the years.. one can only assume that their sheer arrogance and/or stupidity in their "we can't do anything without two witnesses" policy, is a sign that they're either possessed or they're all getting collective alzheimers disease.......it's ridiculous to pretend that child abuse doesn't go on in the congregations - it goes on in every single religious organization on earth, simply because you have imperfect people in every single religious organization on earth.. if child molesters within the congregation were pursued with the same gusto and enthusiasm as those that buy lottery tickets or question doctrines, they'd be doing something.

one can only assume that none of the governing body members have any children (thank god!

) or they'd never come up with such a stupid policy.

No honorable way out

i am sitting here reading posts & trying to decide how to leave the organization.

i really left years ago- but three years ago got reinstated because my dad was dying of cancer- and needed to be around him.

I was never baptised so I can't really relate but I do believe you have the strengh somewhere deep down inside you that will allow you to be who you need to be.

My mother for all the crap I got growing up layed off a bit when I turned 18. I think the nicest thing she ever said to me was "I am glad you are not pretending to be something you aren't". This of coarse totally surprised me. Now and again she will ask if I want to read the newest magazine. I used to politely tell her that I didn't have the time. Now I simply say that I don't want to.

All in all...deep down they will respect you for being your own person (even if they won't admit it). Not to mention that you will respect yourself much more when you are.

I wish you strengh and luck with how you decide to follow through with this difficult situation and wish I was able to offer you more than just words of encouragement. But I have faith in you.
