  Fight Club? What is it about *that* movie that appealed to you? Just curious.

  Well I think that the script was excellent. Was incredibly well acted and has a great twist in the end. Givse a different view into the mind of a nut---same reason I liked "A Beautiful Mind". And just so no misconceptions are formed its not because Brad Pitt is in it (I think he is cute but I really enjoy his acting more than his face----If you have qualms about his acting skills I recommend watching Kalifornia--which is in my top 10 btw)

  ok...simon with his guess the song lyrics inspired me to do one for movies..... you can post your fave movie quote and see if anyone can guess it.

  no home movies or indie please (unless its really well-known).

  plus if you want you can put what genre it is...... i have one to start us out:.

  can you see yourself remarrying (or getting into another long-term defacto relationship) if your partner died?

  i'm not talking about the usual situation where people get divorced, but if your partner died, and you suddenly found yourself single again?.

  I'd be shattered if anything ever happened to my honey ....and even though its still fairly new I could never see myself with anyone else. The thought alone makes me shudder.

  i am vivamus' mum, and i have heard so much about you, that i'd like to meet you all myself.

  i joined the witnesses in 1998, but i have always doubted the organization, but not the faith.

  i am still jehovah's witness, but i am sure that the elders will kick me out as soon as possible, should they know what my real thoughts about the organization are.

  In serious need of some fluff today so I revived an oldie any guesses on these quotes??? (Ill post the answer tomm morn if noone gets them )

  does anyone know the title???????? help please

  i've been wracking my brain for a while now trying to remember the name of this movie i wanted to watch.. i can't remember who is in it...and i couldn't even tell you the plot except this group of people all going to this dinner and they are plotting to kill someone at the table....looks like an intellectual comedy suspense type.. the only thing i am almost sure of (keeping my fingers crossed) is that it was a preview in the vhs (back when i first saw it) version of fight club.

  i think there was also a preview with it for "titus" and "the city of lost children".

  i thought the name was "the dinner game" and rented that which is a good movie but not the one i was tihnking of.. does any one have fight club on vhs that could check this out for me........or does anyone have any idea of the title?.

  OK..now you are contradicting yourself:

  all I want to do is to offer advice like anybody else on the forum.

  So which is it?????

  You don't need to ask if you already know hy you do it....In fact by your own statements you need to get over it and move on and that means stop posting about it....go ahead prove me wrong I dare you (but you won't cause that would mean you would have to not post anymore and I don't think you can do that)

  Not saying that you aren't welcome but you sure haven't come clean with any of us. Therefore you are exhibiting troll behavior IMO and won't be taken seriously by anyone here until you give us a reason to trust you and that first start to hat would be a little honesty.

  BTW---your apparent boredom post hit on many nerves so obviously you aren't "helping" anyone with you enigmatic posts.

  And I'm done with you as well unless you decide the honest approach---It works much better than starting out telling us "to listen to ourselves"

  Good luck trying to save your name now...you might just want to ditch this name also and start afresh.

  Im hard on nobody. Im just eager to find out why people continue to visit this forum when their Watchtower crumbled a long time back.

  Because sometimes even though we are "over" the WTS things happen in our lives that are a direct result of brainwashing etc that happened previously. This actually happened to me. If you really have lurked or had posted a bit under a different name you would know that.

  That and we also are here for the moral support and benefit to those who are not over it. This is to some degree a support forum...who better to help those needing the help than those that have successfully gone through it?

  It doesnt matter if we have been out for 2 months or 20 years....It still affects us in ways you could never imagine.

  There you have your answer now why don't you reveal to us who you really are and what your "real" purpose is.
