  i for one actually agree with the comments made by invisible, americans on the whole are a nation that dominates the world through bullying.. america is the big kid in the playground nicking everyones lunch money.. i live in the us but will move away soon.

  what happened on 9/11 was unbelievably , god awful and so sickening that i cant watch those planes hit the twin towers without feeling nauseated.. this may hurt but.........america brought his on themselves.

  the world has had enough of their politics their machoism and their greed.

  Again I think what is happening on this thread as well is that all American's are being lumped into one category. If you are going to attack the politics of this nation or any other for that matter why not take into consideration that you are really only marking the politicians. And politicians aren't perfect, they are human just like the rest of us. We all make mistakes. I would like to see those that criticize various governements get up there and do a better job themselves. If you aren't taking steps to change anything I don't believe you have any reason to complain. After America has its faults and even though I may not be the most patriotic person I am damn sure glad I live here.

  That being said.....I agree with PLH that we should just let it drop...after all the 4th is almost here and this has the potential to get very ugly.

  What ever happened to love thy brother..who cares what country he lives in.

  "it's the end of the world as we know it ... and i feel fine" .

  i have always loved this line, as it sums up my conversations with witnesses and family that remain witnesses.

  when 9/11 happened i got a lot of letters, conversations, and phone calls from witnesses wanting my wife and i to become active again.

  I have lost faith in man-made religions. However, I have gained faith in myself and my role in this existence.

  To simply state that we have lost faith is not really accurate. You are smiply stating that we have lost "your kind of faith". Brother let me tell you that faith is not judgemental...it comes from within. To have faith simply because someone tells you to ultimately overrides the faith you claim to have.

  I would rather have my unbiased faith that I know is true and pure than something generated to run a publishing company.

  That is just my .02

  Plm...

  all of mine with the exception to E were released within the last 10 years. E is bit older but is well known...give a clue....It is a theme song to a very famous movie and I cant think of one person who has never heard it. E is also the only one not considered rock/alternative. The rest of mine are in that genre.

  I have no idea on any of yours....I am trying..they just aren't familiar.

  Great post to revive...btw....

  I am 25, female, l live in FL. I have 1 cat, no children or boyfriend. I left the JW's when I was 17 w/o ever being baptised. My parents and sister are JW's. I work for the school district in my area in a secretarial position. I spend my free time with friends, the local artists (including but not limited to the painters and musicians), practicing my guitar and writing. I am very interested and practice in many pagan activities (astrology, tarot, native american ceremonies etc).
