  I was looking through the quotes about 1975, and I found something interesting...

  This is not the time to be toying with the words of Jesus that "concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father." (Matt. 24:36) To the contrary, it is a time when one should be keenly aware that the end of this system of things is rapidly coming to its violent end (Watchtower, August 15, 1968) [emphasis added].
  

  I remember when I started studying with Jehovah's Witnesses around the year 2006... Back then they were also talking about the end all the time. Everyone was saying to me, just a little kid back then, that this world would end within a few years. You would think that they learned something from the 1975 fiasco; but, no, they still continue to "prophesy" that the end of this world is just around the corner. They still do the same thing―with only one exception; now they don't give any concrete dates.

  In 330 BCE, Alexander the Great conquered Persia. Then, it was really like domino. The evolution of the concept of ha'satan into the concept of Satan continued until the Maccabean revolt. The evolution of the apocalyptic view played a big role.

  Hell no. Job 1.1–7 talks about Job. Job was in the land of Uz. Then, the book of Job 1.8 explicitly says that "the sons of God came to present themselves before [Yahweh], and [the adversary] also came among them." In this context, the adversary was clearly an angel because he presented himself before Yahweh.

  3) The accusing person attended some kind of court sessions in which matters concerning others were presented before a representative of God. Job 1:6. Exodus 18:19.
  

  The accusing person was directly presented before God, not before a representative of God. Therefore, this court was most likely in heaven.

  4) What befell Job was done by God himself, rather than the one who brought the accusations against Job. Job 1:11, 21; 2:5; 42:10.
  

  You're misrepresenting the situation. In verse 11 the adversary does say to Yahweh to stretch out his hand. However, if you read on to verse 12, Yahweh then says to the adversary that it is in the power of this very adversary to harm Job. Therefore, it was the adversary who harmed Job.

  Because the adversary presented himself directly before God, it was most likely an angel.

  You need to do more accurate studies of ancient Judaism. It's clear that you're just some crackpot who has no idea what s/he's talking about.

  This is actually the first time I hear someone claim that Jesus was tempted not by Satan but by a man—a Pharisee. I've never heard that before. Anyway, according to the Christian tradition, it was Satan. I don't see a valid reason to dispute that.

  ok, 4 questions sprang to mind in light of the recent elders letter.. if you get to the kingdom hall and its on fire, brother a says he saw brother b set it ablaze purposely, .

  who do you call first and why?

  if you get to the kingdom hall and the sound system has been stolen, sister a says she saw brother b loading it onto his van,.

  In the first two scenarios, I presume the authorities would be informed because damage would have been done to the Watchtower itself and its property (the Kingdom Hall.) They would likely call the Legal Department before that, but the issue would be reported to the authorities right after.

  In the third scenario, they would call the Legal Department to inquire what the law in their area requires. (Sounds ridiculous, but elders are idiots who don't understand anything, so they need to be told everything by the Watchtower.)

  In the fourth scenario... you know the procedure. Legal Department, no authorities, innocent victims victimized, abuser protected or disfellowshipped (read: still protected) unless the investigation bears no results, in which case the matter would be left "in Jehovah's hands." (Keep in mind that when the letter mentions the two-witness rule, it says that if there is only one witness, the Legal Department should be called. What happens later, we don't know. The matter is probably left "in Jehovah's hands" as well. I don't think they would investigate when there are no two witnesses. After all, elders are usually idiots who are unable to think and have to be told everything by the Watchtower [see the Australian Royal Commission for irrefutable proof.])

  In other words, hypocrisy...
