  Similarities between Roman Catholics and Jehovah`s Witnesses

  both claim to reach back to first century christians ,( though jw`s are a bit ambiguous about this).

  the r.c church has a pope , the j.w.`s have a governing body ,both providing spiritual food to the faithful.

  That sounds all nice and good, Pterist, but history shows that the spread of private interpretation has been disastrous for the faith. What made the Protestant revolution possible wasn't the work of God; it was the dismantling of Catholic power (separation of Church and State) in Germany. Even Luther regretted what became of the movement. The debauched and bloody Reformation in places like Muenster and Tabor was proof positive of the consequences of all the private interpreting going on. Germany was one big Waco, Texas full of Branch Davidians rolling around in pig dung, running around naked, and committing all kinds of fornications.

  What I am saying isn't to minimize the intimacy between an individual believer and God. It has more to do with doctrine. You, as a Preterist, should appreciate the unity of the Universal Church during the Millennial Reign of Christ. After the 1,000 years was up, Satan went to work through the Judaizing and Reformation of the Church. Don't you see the ending of the 1,000 years and the proliferation of Sola Scriptura as evidence that Satan had been unleashed on the Church?

  Watchtower using MK Ultra/Monarch programming?

  i have always wondered if the watchtower, being a major player in the brainwashing industry, is part of or incorporates mk ultra programming.. for those not familiar with it, project mk ultra was an illegal cia mind control program that apparently still exists unofficially through monarch butterfly programming.

  childern are often the victims of this program, as social engineers and psychological operators found that sexually and physically abusing children produced traits beneficial to the intelligence community, like photographic memory and amnesia (good for carriers of secrets and sensitive information).

  monarch programming also produces candidates for manchurian operations.. anyways, it seems that the cia could definitely benefit by using the watchtower to carry out some of this programming, as the structure of the watchtower kingdom halls makes it easy for predators to abuse kids with impunity.. i did a search on this forum and found at least one person who claims to have been a victim of this, if i am reading correctly.

  If the Watchtower, and contemporaneous religious movements, had grass-roots origins, I wouldn't think anything of it. But that wasn't the case. If there was elitist involvement at the inception of the Watchtower, there is likely still elitist involvement.

  Perhaps, Pterist, but isn't it rather telling that the very reasoning the Catholic Church gave for necessity of the priesthood was shown to be justified during the bloody Protestant/Communist rebellions in Czech and Germany? Not to mention the plethora of sects and cults with their own private interpretations, like the Jehovah's Witnesses....

  Watchtower Real Estate Fire Sale = Comfort for the Jews?

  has anyone noticed that all the watchtower buildings in brooklyn are (so far) being sold to real estate investment companies owned and operated by orthodox jews?

  seriously, i couldnt identify one single watchtower building in brooklyn that went to a non-jewish real estate firm.. is the rothschild family finally cashing in on the initial investment they made in the watchtower at the end of the 19th century?

  i have to wonder if they foresee a collapse or mass exodus in the near future and want to cash in their chips before these lose any more value..

  Partially, stapler, but there is plenty of evidence of Zionist collusion with Russell and the early Watchtower. Then there is the speculation that Russell himself was Jewish. When the exiled Marranos (crypto-Jews) from Spain came to England, the Roesels (variant spellings) became prominent after plundering the Church's wealth under Henry VIII. English Reformation families like the Roesels were also heavily involved in England's new religion at the time: Freemasonry, thanks to cultural saboteurs like John Dee.

  If Charles Taze Russell was a crypto-Jew, was his Watchtower creation his own way—and the B'nai Brith's—of usurping Catholic hegemony in America?

  Clarity, if it makes you feel any better, the dumbing down process (cultural decline) is happening on a global scale. It's part of the Elite's endgame scenario. And, yes, Agenda 21 is very real and very Malthusian. It's all about dominating others and drastically reducing the world population.

  Exactly, Phizzy. And not only that, even if you discard the Septuagint, the Masoretic text is unreliable. The Masoretes were Talmudists. If the insertion of the Kabbalist tetragrammaton was unwarranted, so it was when they attempted to pervert the prophecy of a virgin conceiving. Additionally, the Septuagint predates the Masoretes.

  Consider this: the tetragrammaton is central to Masonic rites; whereas, the name of Jesus is forbidden to be uttered in Masonic lodges.

  Satanus, I want to make two points in response to you.

  Firstly, the Christian worship of Jesus is by no means occultic. Christians don't require any secret knowledge or powers by which to attain salvation. Everything is out in the open and free to all.

  Secondly, the purpose of magic is to elevate man to the status of the divine (God) by acquiring the ability to manipulate nature. Christianity teaches that only God has the rightful ability to do this. Magic and Christianity couldn't be more opposed to each other. Magic is monistic; Christianity is dualistic.

  Satanus, traditional Catholics don't follow Second Vatican Council policies (1968) let alone the New Jerusalem Bible (1985). I would argue that it is as insignificant as the modern New Age Bibles, like the NIV and NASB.
