  to me they have an agenda and they really don't care about professional journalism.

  I'm biased against Trump because I disagree with his rhetoric and his actions. If you agree with them, then you approve of him. Both opinions can be based on the facts.

  Media is not lying when it presents Trump's speeches verbatim. It doesn't lie when it reports that he's played 6 rounds of golf in his first month in office. It's not a lie to say that his Southern White House excursions, and his "rally" cost the taxpayers over $10,000,000 for business that could have been conducted in Washington D.C. It doesn't lie when it points out that he gets his news from Fox and Infowars. It doesn't lie when it shows that he knew about Flynn's discussion about sanctions, and didn't fire him until it was made public. It doesn't lie when it reports on his Tweets, and it doesn't lie when it says nothing happened in Sweden. I've seen nothing said by Sean Spicer, or Kellyanne Conway taken out of context. These are not half-truths.

  I choose to think these are bad things, but if you're happy with this, that's your right. Just don't call it biased or fake news. No matter how you twist it, or say "Yes, but..." IT'S THE TRUTH!

  The Timing of Telling My Parents My College Plans.

  i know that at some point i have to tell my parents that i'm planning to go to college.

  i basically have two options:.

  1. tell them early.

  It may make a difference if you tell them that you will go somewhere local, and keep going to meetings with them.

  My son stayed at home, went to meetings, so we had to endure the occasional comments and experiences at assemblies, where future nuclear physicists related how happy they were to be janitors serving Jehovah.

  When he graduated, everyone was surprised at how quickly he had finished school. He got a great job, and was considered a prize catch for the lucky sister that snagged him.

  He's a ministerial servant now, highly regarded in his congregation, though I hope that the cognizant dissonance will begin to kick in eventually. We used to have many family discussions about the flood and how long man has been in existence, so I know he has many doubts.

  I do think there's enough evidence to warrant some investigating, if only to prove that Trump isn't hiding something. What other possible reason could Trump have to not release his taxes?

  Hit by a car evacuating due to oroville dam. Ever been hit?

  went back to get info from driver who tapped our car in line of cars exiting the area.

  after getting her info, she waited till i walked back to our car and punched the gas, hitting me.

  I was hit in a crosswalk by a drunk driver, luckily had a guitar with me and held up the case in front of me. I woke up surrounded by people peering down at me. Miraculously, nothing was broken, but I could barely move the next day. My guitar was not so lucky!

  I was 18, broke, and living on my own, so when the driver's insurance company offered to pay for my guitar, the ambulance, and the emergency room, I jumped at the offer.

  Later I found out it was the editor of a women's magazine, with prior DUI offenses. I've often joked that I could have made a pile of money.

  I'm in a congregation with only home schooled kids that are a lost cause, definitely members of the janitor/window washer class.

  My oldest son (degree in computer science) is a ministerial servant in a congregation where the majority of those his age have degrees. It's the "hot" congregation in our district.

  One congregation is depressing, the other a delight. One concentrates on Armageddon to end their misery, the other is enjoying life.

  My hope is that the contrast will wake up many (my son included) to the bad advice the Organization is giving on how to lead a "happy" life.

  So how do you screen out the extremists that want to establish Shariah law in the US? Have a question on the vetting forms?

  So we should include countries where Shariah is the law of the land in the immigration ban.

  As far as I'm concerned, if none of the news media can be trusted on both the right and the left, all that's left are the raw facts that can be proved. Donald Trump lies more blatantly than any President in my lifetime. I don't care if other Presidents have lied, he is undoubtedly the Champion, spouting the most lies in the least amount of time.

  So, based solely on his character, I choose not to support him, any more than I would any other liar.

  So far, his ill-conceived immigration ban was a bust, due to bad planning. He obviously had absolutely no plan whatsoever for healthcare. His secret plan for defeating Isis was non-existent, and his wall is still in limbo.

  This is obvious to anyone not in denial, and I won't bother arguing with you, because absolutely nothing is going to change your mind.

  So, we'll just have to wait. At some point, one side is going to be gloating, while the other eats crow. It's still too early to claim a winner.

  I happen to believe that supporting someone based upon his character is as good a way as any, so I'll choose not to support Trump.

  Wachtower study february 20 - the stress factor

  attending for family reasons, and listen in "oversee" modus to the many comments during the watchtower study.. in my opinion it was a self help article on the subject stress amongst the flock.. leave it all to jehovah and help your self with the bullet points.. what i noticed from the comments is the lot of stress mentioned.

  comments after comment they told how they handle their problems.

  it is a real toppic amongst them.

  The most anxiety free families in my congregation are those with money, family business dynasties, and large support groups of JW relatives. The rest of us are waiting on Jehovah.

  The most disturbing thing about this whole Swedish statement, is that Trump uses Fox news for his security briefings.

  Unless you think Fox is the standard for unbiased reporting.
