No matter how slanted the MSM may be, a lot of their reporting is simply pointing out obvious lies from Trump and his administration. If I watch an unedited video of Trump I don't need anyone to tell me that he's an inveterate liar.
Some people on this site obviously get all their information from Fox, Breitbart, Infowars, and various social media, with no attempt to verify any of the information before reposting it and disseminating it to others just like themselves.
I don't care if Obama and Hillary did things in the past that people don't like. I've researched enough to satisfy myself about their innocence or guilt on the various charges against them. But that's in the past. Get over it.
Trump is undoubtedly the most unabashed public liar we have ever seen in the White House. The size of the crowds at his inauguration, the millions of illegal voters, biggest Electoral College win since Reagan, I could fill pages with his fantasies.
If all the media did was post his speeches and Tweets verbatim, then fact check them, many on this site would call that bias. I'm not even going to bother arguing with you.
If you want to defend Trump using his actual words and actions, I'll be glad to discuss them with you. If you bring up Obama, Clinton, Benghazi, emails, Clinton Foundation, or anything not pertaining to Trump, then you're not worth my time.
Trump has promised more things, and signed more EO's in a shorter period of time than any President in our history. He's also sent no legislation to Congress. The only real action was a poorly thought out ban on immigration that created chaos.
So, if you want to debate, then debate on the merits of his words and actions. I don't care if someone else was worse.
I don't hate Trump, I just believe that he is the most incompetent man ever elected to the office of President, and I think totally unbiased reporting will prove it.

I don't need the news media. I only have to watch unedited videos of Trump and his apologists to learn all I need to know about this administration. Why should I believe anything Trump says about anything important, when he lies about the little things that don't matter. The denial of the need for an investigation, and that Jeff Sessions wouldn't recuse himself if there was one, tells me all I need to know. Unfortunately for Trump, this is one situation that he can't pay off and walk away from.

Anyone read the latest Awake (on the supernatural)?
by LoveUniHateExams injust read some of this latest awake on the org's webshite.. it begins by talking about the 'supernatural' - wizards, witches, vampires, etc.
- their popularity and why they might appeal to people.
then it goes on to state the wt belief that someone is 'behind it'.. now, i like a few horror/scary films - when i was a kid, i always actually liked being a bit scared by them, tbh.. the silence of the lambs, a nightmare on elm street (1984), the ring, the witch, the thing (1982) and a few others are all great, imo.. they are just genres and subgenres of film, that's all.

The original "Haunting of Hill House" terrified me. Very sparing use of special effects, but masterful build-up to leap from your seat moments. -

There was a New York Times article a few days ago about farmers in California voting for Trump because he promised to cut regulations. They thought his immigration promises were just rhetoric. Now they're admitting that without the cheap labor, they'll be in big trouble, because they can't survive without the illegals.

Another Burnt Out Elder
by Spoletta inyoung elder(mid-thirties) in my congregation stepped down last night.
nicest guy, with two lovely kids, a great supportive wife.. it got to be too much, as the other elders are practically useless, let him do all the hard work, while they did all the "important" stuff.
literally ran him ragged.. he's still in good standing, gave the final prayer.

He's still in good standing, gave the final prayer. His poor wife wore sunglasses to hide her tears.
He doesn't realize it, but it's the greatest gift he could ever give to his family, to have the time to give them the attention they deserve. May many more follow in his footsteps.

3.(e) By Charitable Works for the Relief of Poverty
by Lostandfound inlooking at the australian wt memorandum and articles of this line took my attention.. when did they ever undertake works to relieve poverty, some discarded bethelites facing poverty would laugh at this, more like charitable works for the extension of poverty.
but no poverty facing the ultra heavies and gb members replete with obscene displays of the means of telling the time..

I don't know how many times I've cringed when someone on the platform denigrates secular charities, while extolling the Organizations feeble efforts.

Simon. I think Conway may be on the way out. Have you considered applying for the job? You've got the spiel down pat.

Interesting that the new right defense against any criticism, is that when we speak negatively about their positions, it's because we believe that they're racists, therefore they spend their time defending themselves, rather than the policies themselves. I don't think they're racist, they just dislike or fear anyone that's not like them, or is better off than them.(Unless they're Trump or his cabinet)

There is certainly no talk about never growing old in this system of things, Elsa will no longer be around to remind them how wrong they were.
