The debates here seem dictated by which media the liberals, moderates and conservatives seem to be relying on to confirm their biases.

Part of it boils down to the definition of what constitutes "fake" news. Is it publishing outright lies, or unconfirmed stories, unnamed sources, or just putting a biased spin on the news?

Simon, I recall you listing a number of news sources that you seem to consider fairly bi-partisan. I also wonder if FMF and other moderate or conservative commenters here have sources they rely on that could be considered bi-partisan.

I will make a pledge to use only those sources to comment on this whole subject of any wrongdoing by Trump and his administration.I will also refuse to engage in any debate that relies on information from any other source. Anything other than those sources will be considered "fake" news.

If you can't agree on any bi-partisan sources, then I posit that you are admitting that there are are none, in which case I have every right to consider any sources you quote as being "fake" or dishonest.

This seems reasonable to me, any thoughts on it?

So as long as no Americans die, we don't need to investigate collusion by Trump's campaign in the election, Flynn's lies, Manafort's millions, asking for loyalty, blurting out highly classified info, asking Comey to leave Flynn alone, and numerous other gaffes.

I'm not saying any of this is true. I'm just saying the possibility that there is some truth to these coincidences and "fake" news surely merits a decent investigation.

What actions specifically?

If the Republicans would put as much effort into this investigation as they did Bengazi, we might know. There were 44 staffers involved in the Senate investigation of Clinton versus 7 for Trump/Russia.

Chaffetz is only pursuing the investigation because it's no longer a liability to his immediate career.

I'm not saying the allegations are true, I'm saying that the effort to uncover the truth has been feeble at best, and when there seems to be some headway, things happen that slow down the investigation.

I may be partisan, but aside from some lip service criticism of Trump by the right-leaners, I certainly believe your comments prove you as partisan as any here. I'm just willing to admit that I am.

If, and I am saying if, half the allegations about Trump prove to be true, I'm sure you'll come up with some word salad to prove that you were totally bi-partisan, not favoring either side, only railing at the"fake"news from the MSM.
