Comforter-
What makes the your statements meaningful and others not meaningful? And as far as Jesus being caught in questions that were seemingly Catch-22's, didn't he still answer them? So why won't you answer mine?
jehovah's witnesses proclaim the good news of the kingdom under the power of god's holy spirit.
jesus commanded his followers to preach in the most distant parts of the earth and promised them that the spirit of god would guide them in this life-saving work (acts 1:8).. without the spirit of god, one cannot continue preaching about jesus and god's kingdom (matthew 24:14).
one surely will not have god's spirit if one preaches a negative message (against jehovah's servants) from door to door.

I know that this has been asked numerous times already but I have yet to read a decent response.
Are JW's forbidded association with df'd or da'd people? Be careful how you answer this question if you decide to answer it at all. Because if you answer "no" they are not forbidden I will show you about 100 Watchtower quotes that say otherwise. If you answer "yes" then I want to know why you are here, especially after I've read you say that you would not be posting anymore.

what brings a smile to your face?
i cant help but smile when my wife laughs, or when my kids play outside.
i also smile when my boy, who is 15 wants to talk to me.
-Watching my husband sleep. . . .
-Watching my husband cook. . . .
-Watching my husband clean. . . .
a born-into-it teenager or maybe someone in their early 20's, gets df'd for an unspecified offence.
later the df'd person protests that df'ing is unscriptural and inhumane, only to be told "you knew the score, you knew what would happen, it's your fault".. but is it?
maybe it might be fairer for a converted person to be df'd for breaking the rules, after all, a converted person has joined the jw's willingly and has therefore accepted the witness rules.
I feel like kind of a youngster, but I had similar experiences as all of you. I too was baptized at age 13 in 1992. I did it because all of my friends and I decided to do it that particular summer. I memorized all of my questions perfectly and was honestly committed to the religion until 2 years ago. I understood the consequences and I was sure that I would never ever break the rules (at 13).
I would have to agree though, that my maturation was stunted. I didn't even have sex until I was 21 because I never wanted to date any of the JW boys. The only ones left by the time I was that old were gross! And when I did started dating it was hard. I didn't know what "wordly" guys expected. I knew nothing about dating! It sucked.
oh darn...i hate when life grants those wishes, when you ask for them.
this august 7th i leave the u.s. and fly to rio de janeiro and will be coming back late january or should time provide, mid march.
i dread staying untill march, because of carnival...i know, i know...terrible, absolutely terrible.
You lucky bastard!
when we put the fellings and whims of a few disgruntled "active" jehovah's witnesses who come to these boards before the intense feelings, thoughtful commentary or adult playfulness of the majority of posters here - ex witnesses, so-called apostates, etc.
don't call me jaded or an advocate of anarchy or harm to my fellow man just because i believe in freedom of expression.
i am a good kind loving person!
Don't leave I&P. . .
this is really dumb but i'm gonna ask it anyway.
well, i am in a bi-racial relationship.
my husband is white and i am black.
Hey everybody umm. . . I want to thank some of you for the names, and I'd like to slap a couple of you. . but nonetheless, thanks.

This is really dumb but I'm gonna ask it anyway. Well, I am in a bi-racial relationship. My husband is white and I am black. I've been wanting a kid really bad and I've shared some ideas for names with him. Unfortunately he thinks the names I like are too BLACK. He says we can't give our kids black names, what if the comes out looking more white. I personally don't think it matters but he has a 50/50 say in it. For all of you out there in bi-racial relationships or anyone at all what did you name your kids? Or does anyone have any unique name that don't sound too BLACK or WHITE? Give me first and middle names pretty please, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.
this will definitely make you feel a lot smarter
question: if you could live forever, would you and why?.
answer: "i would not live forever, because we should not live forever,.
Thanks puffs I feel much smarter already!
Dmouse-
That sounds awful. It's a good thing you aren't highly allergic like some people.
