I know it was meant to be a plural "ya". My point was that everyone on this board is not one person and it is not accurate to say we all do certain things and think certain ways. So if you say "you" and what you say does not represent me then I will call you on it.

Well Snax, most of us feel like free will and free thinking makes us much happier than the brainwashing that goes on in the Kingdom Hall.
My life would be considerably worse if I was still a JW. While a member of the religion I was miserable. Now, I'm happily married to an athiest, I go out with worldly people, and I don't have to go to 5 boring meetings a week.

I don't sit around day in and out ridiculing the Watchtower and even if I do ridicule, it is over large matters, not small ones. Isn't covering up pedophilia a big matter? Isn't allowing people to die to follow archaic rules a big deal?

if it was not for worldly peeps, we would not have prejudice.
There are plenty of racist Witnesses. I know this because I've met many of them. I know lots of Witnesses that are prejudiced against non Witnesses and homosexuals. Also, after 9/11 I heard comments about Arabs from Witnesses.
My mother when living in Memphis dealt with several prejudiced Witnesses.

Comforter, I've explained to you that modern civilized people no longer used the word "colored" so cut it out. Notice the Watchtower quote was from 1960, that's when people used the world. We also don't call people of Asian descent "Orientals".
As far as the topic about marrying someone of another race i.e. black/white, it has not caused me nor my husband any problems. Larc said:

Well, I feel sorry for them, but it's not like that for everyone everywhere. Where do you live by the way? I suppose that one day it might cause a problem, but here in Kansas it is so wide spread that most people don't even think twice when they see us together. Our upbringing was similar so there's no culture shock, and we have lots in common. I see our relationship as less difficult than most same race relationships. -

I will answer your question. The reason people point out that your grammar is bad is because you drastically changed your writing style after your first few posts. Here is your first post:
At one time, this board seemed to be fair. But I no longer think that it is, to jws, at least. Ex-jws here can cuss, insult, say FU to everybody they don't like, and call jws pedophiles. Ex-jws can post fluff posts too and have multiple identities with no problem. Can jws do things like that among you people? No they cannot. You advocates of free speech need to check yourself. All you want is a place where you can carry on one long monologue. Too much negativity up in this place. I await the customary insults.
And your second:
Ex-jws in this place often berate the gerontological state of the governing body. The speak abusively about the oold men in Brooklyn. Why the antipathos against the men in Brooklyn? Why focus on the old age of the governing body and how hard it is for them to swallow food when criticizing them? Can you not separate the advanced age of the body from your criticisms of their doctrinal stance?
Now inside these posts you'll find grammatical errors and spelling errors, but was anyone making fun of you then? No, because you actually attempted to make a point. Mr. Bowen also was trying to make a point in his letters. We all make errors in our spelling and sentence structure, but when a person does is deliberately such as yourself, he needs to be made fun of.Most cultures throughout human history have encouraged the young to show the utmost respect for their elders. The ageism that is manifested in this place is disgusting to comforter. You people contemplate what I am saying and mend your ways. You may criticize jw beliefs and practices. But you have no right to be anti-gerontological in ya orientation.
