I've honestly only scanned it. Why, is there something scary hidden within?

Also, although I am agnostic the Baha'i faith appeals to me. They accept Abraham, Moses, Buddha, Zoroaster, Christ and Muhammad all as being God's Messengers. I like that. More:
Humanity is now coming of age. It is this that makes possible the unification of the human family and the building of a peaceful, global society. Among the principles which the Baha'i Faith promotes as vital to the achievement of this goal are:
- the abandonment of all forms of prejudice
- assurance to women of full equality of opportunity with men
- recognition of the unity and relativity of religious truth
- the elimination of extremes of poverty and wealth
- the realization of universal education
- the responsibility of each person to independently search for truth
- the establishment of a global commonwealth of nations
- recognition that true religion is in harmony with reason and the pursuit of scientific knowledge

Do you still Patronize Women?
by limbo ini was thinking today about how jehovah's witnesses are conditioned to view women.
i'm sure there have been many threads and discussions on this subject.
just curious how you view women now that you are no longer a jw?

LOL.. I doubt any man that thinks women should be subservient will speak up. I am curious though about the Christian men and women on this site. Do they follow the Bible's guidelines about man being the head of the woman.

Did God talk to you too?
by Caveat inno im not crazy now... but maybe i was back then.
did you ever prayed for guidance and opened your bible in a passage that seem to show you the way?.
did you get a innocent comment from an old sister at the hall that seemed at the time like advice from the almighty?.

If effective techniques of dealing with The Invisible are actually available, then opposition to learning them is a kind of Luddism.
If that's what it means I do not appreciate the characterization. I am not opposed to learning about most things. If there is a way to prove (with tangible evidence) that "The Invisible" (whatever that means) exists and I can use it or whatever.. I'm down with that.

Oh wait, I looked up "luddite" and it's: one who opposes technical or technological change. Since I don't, I don't understand why I was called a "ludite". Explain?
