Ouija Boards

well, i was talking on the phone to my best friend and we started talking about aliens, spirits, etc.

and eventually we got around to discussing the ouija board.

since i was raised a jw and have only been out a year, the ouija board was of course forbidden and even a little scary.

Since I was raised a JW and have only been out a year, the Ouija board was of course forbidden and even a little scary. But now it seems like it would be a fun experiment. I'd like to know your thoughts and experiences and maybe it'd help me come to a decision of whether or not I want to play this 'game'.

I know the Bible is True

i know the bible is true because.... * it is infallible.

there is not one contradiction with these pages.

The truth is out there on the internet? Okay. . . and so is a bunch of BS, what's your point? Also, we're the lazy ones? You are the one making statements of fact with nothing to back them up, and even after we ask for proof you are the one too lazy to provide it.

As for comments made by atheists, who else were you talking to? You don't need to reassure people that already believe in the Bible why it's so wonderful, so I assumed as an agnostic that you were speaking to me, trying to convince me of something.

By the way, no need to be rude to people that don't believe as you do. As an agnostic I welcome comments from anyone, christians, atheists, whoever. You are simply showing with this statement:

What do you miss?

ok, i'm not sure how popular this will be, but i have to ask.

is there anything you miss from being a dub?

since my family is still in, i miss getting together after assemblies and hanging out.

-I miss having answers to everything Biblical

-It was easier accepting that when I die I'll live in paradise instead of simply not existing

Do you believe that the Bible is literal? For example: do you believe that humans were created 6,000 years ago?

where do you go, what are you taking, and hows your experience so far?

I attend WSU (Wichita State University) in Kansas. I love school and I'm learning so much stuff! My major right now is Psychology but I'm changing it to Forensic Science. Right now my classes have been really easy but I decided to change to Forensic Science to challenge myself. I'll be taking higher level Math and Physics courses .

Some of the best classes for me so far are Geology and Biological Anthropology. They totally refute everything I learned as a JW and have totally opened my eyes to so many new concepts.
