  Respectfully, I disagree with this comment about the equality of Hispanics in the WT.

  The arrangement with the publications is more a function of better translation and technical systems than anything else.

  Fred Franz was attending a Spanish Congregation in NY and it is possible that some GB members are doing the same today. I see this as a way for them to improve their language skills and nothing else; in general it doesn’t benefit the Spanish brothers.

  The back of the bus comment was related to positions of authority, as stated before the Anglo will always be at front. This applies to Conventions, Assembly Halls, Kingdom Halls and any matter that requires organizing. It is obvious that the thinking that the Spanish are not good enough to lead still prevails.

  I agree with something and that is the comment about the capitalistic mentality, but it should not co-exist with "brotherly love".

  go to jw.org right now friends and you will see a young male jw witnessing in a rural setting with publication in hand and - take careful note - wearing a crisply-white open-neck shirt.

  bring out the carnival, light the lights: the organ ization is kicking itself into an ongoing casualization of its rank and file.. in the 1960s through 1980s i know brothers who dared to attire themselves sans ties who were reprimanded or worse.

  Adding to previous comments, is just a matter of location. The tie and suit preaching rules are crazy, they are portraying an image that is no longer here; to me is more of a repellent than anything else.

  it seems most of the us growth is in spanish-speaking territory, and of course, there is growth in the nations where spanish is the predominant language.

  most sites oriented around ttatt, are english-speaking.

  there seems then to be a great need for translators...for instance, imagine if there was a spanish version of www.jwfacts.com.. unfortunately, i dont speak this language.

  The situation in the last comment is not an anomaly but the norm. In situations like this, everyone around this person knew what he was doing but opted to look the other way. Only the scandal forced their hands to act.

  to thank you for taking the time to read this, because i feel that it is extremely important.

  over the years we have been waring against the watchtower, and our battle field has been the internet.and we have been very successful in establishing discussion forums and online resorces exposing false teachings and we have used youtube to further shed light on the watchtower, we have even written books to this end.. .

  yes we have attacked watchtower at its weakest point, the internet and we have been able to do this as small groups and even individualy.

  A few years back his matter was extensively discussed in the Spanish Forum and it resulted in one of the biggest battles that I have ever seen.

  My opinion is that it will be great if possible but I am more inclined to the guerilla strategy.

  A humble observation, the regional variations with the Spanish are more common with the spoken language. When properly writing there is no major difference and any native Spanish speaking will easily understand the text.

  I think that this project will be more successful if all the Spanish speaking countries are considered and not only Latin America.

  Please I am saying this in good faith, no offense whatsoever.

  Something that seems dishonest is the treatment of the undocumented brothers.

  While they are learning the “truth” there is no mention about their legal status.

  They get to be new publishers and the matter never comes out.

  When the baptismal questions are asked they brush over the matter of obeying “Caesar” without any further discussion.

  Once that they are in they learn that they have a stigma over them and they won’t be allowed to have any privileges until their situation changes.

  In the meantime their field service, contributions, labor and everything else that they are doing is welcomed and praised.

  It seems hypocritical to allow them in without any warning about what is going to be coming to them.
