Thanks for the input, might not be a coincidence.
during our wt life we met a good number of friends involved in the circuit and district work.
i am sure that we share the same experience and that we remember fondly some that we caring, loving and generally interested in the brothers.
at the same time we might remember others that were arrogant, selfish, abusive and oppressive.

Just out of curiosity I ran a search for these two Churches, larger than the WT and they are doing a lot less than the 233 under Watch Tower and the 187 under Watchtower for a total of 420.
Baptist Church: 30 transactions, no sales

a friend of mine told me about a huge elders meeting in southern california.
the subject was the relocation and dissolution of some congregations; it seems that this is the result of some project that has been going on for some time and is going to be implemented right now.. please let me know if this is happening all over the country?.
JWdaughter
the extras got sent to NY
This is not an accurate statement, a congregation or circuit used to have in their account as much money as they wanted. They used to send an amount to the Branch determined by the congregation or circuit, in some instances they used to send a large amount of money as funds deposited or loaned and subject to reimbursement.
All of that has changed gradually and with regards to money there is no freedom of choice.

I bump this to comment that from what I am hearing the EX COs are having a tough time adjusting to a normal life, the ones that I have heard about are miserable with the loss of their privileged status.

Thinking about my previous comment, in the good old days when a congregation dissolved or a new one was formed the funds were divided according to the number of publishers. I guess that with the new ceiling in local funds there is no need for that and any money in the closed accounts goes to the Branch.

There are a whole bunch of millions in sales in those records, I don't know how to read it properly.
