Another one that come to my mind; there is was a couple serving as Special Pioneers, her single sister was going with them from assignment to assignment. She was a regular pioneer, all a sudden it was discovered that the husband was having relations with his sister in law; the only reason why it came out was because she was pregnant. On the field a CO completed his visit to a congregation, left his wife and started living with his many years mistress.

Nice corresponding with you, sad the experience of the missionary. It is possible that he was targeted for something else and that was just an excuse to get him out of the way. On the other hand the WT is unmerciful as far as money matters, they don't allow any sort of chicanery.

It is very possible that this will bring the Cuba Government to the table, a lot of money has been invested by foreign companies in the Cuban tourist industry. The boom that was expected has never materialized and now this will kill whatever little momentum was building.

48% Capacity at Kingdom Halls - A post on reddit
by berrygerry inthere was a letter read this week, followed by a talk about all the changes that are coming in the next couple of months regarding merging congregations in the area (va/md/dc) - the letter said that the kh's in the area are only being filled to 48% capacity.
this was music to my ears as i have noticed the decline in attendance in all the neighboring congregations.
they will sell some kingdom halls and merge some congregations.

This is why they stopped announcing and posting the attendance. They still have records for the CO, included in the attendance are the people listening at home; sometimes quite a few.
