Sad news from the Spanish Front
by Hecce ini think the majority of forum friends are aware of the existence of a vibrant watchtower opposition in the spanish field.
for about 13 years the extj forum was probably the main instrument for that endeavor, sadly the couple sponsoring that site decided to close it at the end of last year.
it seems like they were overwhelmed with personal obligations and responsibilities; they were covering a 100% of the expenses without any outside cooperation or publicity.. after the closing of their forum, some of the friends started new sites to keep the flow of information alive.

I can't get involved in an effort like this, I just wish that somehow a good decent Spanish Forum will surface. Kind of wishing for a miracle.

Chook: my take is that they wanted to have two more witnesses of your apostasy; surprises me that a MS was present, he might be infected with your arguments.
My best to you.

Something new for me:
Despite having acquired a reputation for stupidity, geese show signs of great sensitivity and intelligence. Many species mate for life, and the death of a loved one provokes behaviour that is remarkably similar to our own. They honk mournfully, stop eating, hunch up their feathers and can remain that way for months. If a partner is shot down, they will return to earth to stand vigil next to its corpse. Reunited couples perform a ‘triumph ceremony’ – a combination of dance and song which re-enacts their courtship.

I agree with you all, it gets to you. In my particular case, I am so glad for the video; otherwise I will doubt some of the details.

Yes, this the effect that produced in the rescuing officer:
Charron teared up and said it was the highlight of her 24 years on the force

Officer James Givens has served with the Cincinnati Police Department for over 26 years, but has never quite experienced anything like this before. He was sitting in his patrol car in a parking lot when he got an unexpected visitor. A goose came up to his car and started pecking on the side of it. He threw food out for her, thinking that’s what she wanted, but she didn’t take it.
She continued to peck and quack, then walked away, stopped, and looked back at Officer Givens. Then she came back to his car and pecked at it again. She made it very obvious that she wanted Officer Givens to follow her, so he finally got out of his car and did just that.
The goose led him 100 yard away to a grassy area near a creek. Sitting there was one of her babies, tangled up in a balloon string. He was kicking his feet, desperate for help. He was wary of helping the baby on his own, worried that the goose might attack him, so he called for help from the SPCA, but no wildlife rescuers were available at the moment.
Luckily, Given’s colleague, Officer Cecilia Charron, came to help. She began to untangle the baby, and the mother goose just stood there and watched, quacking. She didn’t become aggressive, and just let Officer Charron do what she had to do to set the baby free. It’s like the mother goose knew they were helping.
Once she untangled the baby, she put her down and she ran right to her mom and they went back to swimming in the creek. Charron teared up and said it was the highlight of her 24 years on the force.

The Biblical reasoning behind a judicial comitee?
by CitizenofEarth ini was wondering today what i would say if i ever were to be called to a judicial trial in the congregation, and my conclusion was that i didn't really have any biblical defense against it.
so i was wondering what you guys would recommend.
it seems far fetched to me that the bible condones a 1 vs 3 biased trial (where you already have been judged beforehand), instead of one where you have a unbiased judge, a defense and a prosecutor/accuser.

I remember reading that the idea of the modern judicial system of the WT is a copy of the Masonic discipline procedures, I don't know much about this but I read also that censure, reprimand and expulsion are part of both procedures. I guess that a lot of closed religions have similar arrangements.
The Biblical support for the Committees is very thin.
