  Finds in Jerusalem shore up biblical account of Babylonian conquest (586 BCE date)

  this is a nice article about archaeological finds, what caught my attention is the use of 586 bce as the date for the destruction of jerusalem.. according to biblical descriptions, in 586 bce, the babylonian king nebuchadnezzar vanquished the judaean king zedekiah and razed his capital city, jerusalem.

  the babylonian captain of the guard nebuzaradan was dispatched into the city, where, as told in the book of jeremiah, he “burned the house of the lord, and the king’s house; and all the houses of jerusalem, even every great man’s house, burned he with fire.”.

  With you 100% in your assessment, the WT is a bad memory organization. People that came in during the Knorr days didn't care for what happened under Rutherford or Russell. The past is forgotten, the same formula is being applied today.

  Well I am using my flawed thinking as a point of reference, it is truth that I was aware that the friends were not perfect but somehow I had a sense of moral superiority about them. I learned a lifetime lesson about my mistake after being burned a few times. In that respect I think that this material will open a few eyes within the active JWs.

  Need a copy of Aid To Bible Understanding...in SPANISH

  i'm attempting to rescue some friends from this organization with a presentation of my own.

  i've acquired almost all of my literature except i need a copy (pdf or physical) of the aid to bible understanding book in spanish (1987 version - ayuda para entender la biblia).. someone on this board uploaded a pdf many years ago, the link is now defunct.

  i would really appreciate anyone who could point me in the right direction for this - i have been scouring ebay & amazon & going through download sites of other jw source material to no avail.
