  Right now, privacy protections healthcare laws are very tight. It is easier to get underground treatment, I have the feeling that the blood issue is bypassed very frequently; in some cases it happens and in other the preparations are there just in case. I will say also that most of the elders don't want to get involved in things like that.

  The original information was that the meeting was going to be translated to Spanish simultaneously, later on it was determined that it was going to be English only and that the Spanish translation will be online thereafter.

  Seems like the smart thing to do was to have only the ones that speak English at the live meeting and let the others listen online later; but that will be too easy.

  As you know the question regarding the “kool aid” is related to the tragic events at Guyana and Jim Jones. Blind obedience and faith in this man resulted in a massive loss of lives.

  Sometimes we see the same pattern of blind obedience to the Watchtower from the witnesses. This could be on major items or small details. Today there was an occurrence that triggered this question in my mind.

  An Spanish Congregation was a participant in the Annual Meeting broadcast. The great majority of the Congregation doesn’t speak English and the program was not translated; however 90% of the publishers were in attendance and stayed for the whole meeting.

  Looking at their compliance and their waste of three and half hours of their day, makes me wonder:

  How much of the “kool aid” are they willing to drink?

  a friend of mine has contacts to a family with several circuit overseers and special pioneers.

  they have good connections to bethel.. he told me that the latest rumor from bethel states that the cos should be abolished in their present form.

  they have also recently begun to take cos back to bethel.. over the same channel i have already heard of the car fleet program and that the dos should be abolished.. has anyone else already heard of it?

  One CO literally stripped everything out of the apt - stereo equipment, everything. Hard to believe.

  I have never seen something like this, a few years back a very arrogant and abusive CO decided that the equipment in the CO apartment wasn't good enough for him and by himself went out bought new appliances and passed the bills to the Circuit, there was a major stinko but at the end of the day we wind up paying for it.

  When the rotation time came, he was sent home.

  By personal experience I can tell you that the substitutes are very careful of their manners and behavior. Some of the most pleasant visits were from subs.

  There just ain't enough dumb super elders to take the bait!

  Yes, they are. This is doable and it has been tested for many years. This arrangement is more related to the substitute CO than the City Servant; if offered a lost of elders will jump at the opportunity. The few substitutes that I know are 30-40, maybe intentionally, this is a strong possibility.

  i just don't have that much time nowadays.. my mother was always proud, and used to mention to a lot of people, that i already was in field-service when i was seven weeks old.

  well, i'm a february child, so you understand how cold it was in my pram.

  Example of the type of mind control that the cult have over the members, if she was so decided; there was no need for her to actually "do it", just by saying that she did was enough. I guess she could bring herself to lie.
