Why do people proudly say they belong to Jesus ?

i know what the statement means im just baffled why anyone would select words like "belong" or a that they are a "servant" of jesus ?.

i mean ive never heard anybody say they belong to their parents or their spouse, so why are they property of jesus as in servitude ?

why would anyon e then go about making boastful pronoucnements about how great jesus is after he requires total servitude ?

Satanus, I am coming in more contact with various Christians who are more real. So far they don't get a big moral boost by playing "Moral Mike" or "Holy Joe" with no giant ego!

Mp: Joseph was Pharoh's slave, Moses's was Jehovah's slave, "Paul a slave of Jesus Christ" considered everything in the material world as "nothing, valueless" to the riches of the world, each of these men loved their different masters. Real slaves of Christ are treated well, we will become sons and daughters of the Father through our Master's leadership.

Again, the negative connotation of "slave" applied to "sex-slaves", "slavery in America", "South America" is not the type of Slavery a Christian under Jesus Christ feels. We have "Freedom of Christ" as Christians who are suppose to grow in greater spirituallity. I am sorry you have dealt with your share of bad Christians and others of this religious world. I wish people would be more "real" and not fall into "Satanus's" experiences with people who assert they are "Slaves of Christ" but behave in "mock humility" or hipocrisy.

what sign or evidence back's the watchtower's leadership's claim, they are "the vine" (john 15) and are jesus christ's modern day apostles?

the 1950 something watchtower makes the claim if we fall off their vine, we become like a dead limb or commit spiritual suicide (if some new teaching cracks or blows us off the vine(watchtower teachings)).

Maybe the Watchtower think's they are the "Rootstocks" that bring up the all the nutrients Nitrogen and minor nutrients the Vine delivers to each branch? (P), (K), (Fe), (B). Grapes cut from a the Vine can continue to ripen as they use the branch/little-vine's sugar and water until it drys up. If we are cut from the Vine, we are going to die unless we are close to Harvest, the premise of the Watchtower's analogy is obvious they believe they are part of the Vine.

Am I wrong to ask how the Governing Body became "The True Vine", and being connected to "them" lead's to life, instead of our grafting onto our lord Jesus Christ, and his Gardner Father Jehovah God?

This Watchtower falls under blasphemy, but who is the greater fool? Jesus said the the religious leaders made their disciples twice as worthy for Ghenna, why was that?

Ask yourself, how does Jesus view these doctrines where the Watchtower strips him of his authority, and take's away the "free gift of God" away from those hungering for it?

I notice most of the Governing Body or Top Brass don't head into the trenchs with their troops, does this mean they are not under the direction of the angelic forces? You either are a "Preacher" or your a "Pusher", historical evidence shows the Governing Body are "Pushers", "Pointers", loading up rules and ripping out the "little child of wonder" in each JW.

elders just assume that you want to carry microphones and work your way up the spiritual ladder to that blissful state of total immersion in "kingdom matters.

Here's the truth that's quite upsetting to me, I can go to every Poison, Rat, White Snake, Metellica, Linkin Park, Ozzy Osborne, Deicide and Green Day concert and keep all my responsibilities if nobody has the courage to call me on my gross hipocrisy. I have Facebook friends of anti-Witness bands, possible apostates or disfellowshiped friends, I am "spiritually strong" if nobody catches my duplicity.

My sister's congregation has a "pioneer couple" who followed all the heavy metal bands of 1980s(big haired bands) and they scream "Shout At The Devil" at the top of their lungs when Vince and Tommy were rocking. Young sisters head to the "sister-pioneer" wanting to pick her brain, to hit the spiritual high Sister Pioneer gives through her verbiage (Theocratical Ministry School parts, demos and frequent interviews of her longheld faith.) as the crowd eats up her bull-crap.

If the average JW had "X-ray vision" during the Circuit Assembly I was Chairman, it's possible my body piercings might stumble them (nipple, nut-sack rings and pins), thankfully I was in full garb which presents the illusion of "spirituallity".

Mp, you are correct history is silent on Xians fine works from 36Ad to 500 AD, they overcame the Roman empire out of pure selfish immorral and hateful behaviour while great humans like Nero, Caligula, Trajan, Marcus Aurelious secured the heart of the population with their great acts of love and charity. Tacitus, Suetoneus, Senneca write of the great charity the Romans had for everyone.

This forum has taught me a new concept, that Jesus did not have a pre-human existence but came into existence by using "part-human part Jehovah" into a "new creation". Fundies, JWs, Mormons and Islam do have ideas that Jesus did have a existence before he volunteered to "humble himself and take on the form of a slave" to prove Satan a liar, and provide his blood so we could have life. Will a Christian die if he does not believe "Jesus is Jehovah", or a third essense of God, I can't find that in the New Testament, it's not there. If a Christian believes Jesus is a god, but nor subordinate to the Father, able to do his own will, I can't find that concept either, perhaps we can go this route and discuss why Jehovah gave Jesus a "name above every other name" when he already had the highest name in Heaven (If he is Jehovah). (Phillipians 2:1-8)

had a phone call from my son today.... he rang his jw mother to give her some news and found out the school his little half siblings go to was having an end of year play.

he was pretty excited apparently and asked if he could come along and this is how it went.... "no, it is for family.

That's Sucks Oz! Something about this religion is going to cause the Spanish Speaking Countries to dump this waste of time. Secular countries with little family values are quick to dump their kids, siblings, parents,ect.... with a gentle "invisible marking" from a "holy elder". Jehovah must want to puke when he sees how evil and twisted the Org is.

Ok, I am hearing how JWs are attempting to get their forces to move and pounce on the Chinese speaking people, how will the Witnesses attempt to destroy Three Thousand Years of Chinese Culture that teaches to "talk care of family", "respect your elderly and parents", "don't bring shame on your family being lazy, stealing or milking the system"?

I wish the JWs would release the "secret (not ready for public consumption material) material" for everyone to see they are preaching with! Their attempts to control, mold each person to obey the Borg, as we surrender our freedom for the "great good"
