If the United States undid the "Statue of Limitations" imposed by various States, the Organized groups would have a "Catagory Six" Hurricane of litigation. I know the Watchtower has lucked out on States that limit your time to litigate to "x amount of years after coming of age" "and how did it affect you", we have pedophiles who pray any SOL is not overturned, because the Churches would go bankrupt as various parishes did.

Will 2013 be the Year of Justice for Child Sex Abuse Victims - both Jehovah Witness and non Jehovah Witness survivors in the states of Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York?
by Sol Reform in" now, virtually every religious organization has had to deal with this issue in some form.
and those with theological beliefs that require them to keep scandal from seeping outside the organization, like the roman catholic church, the orthodox jews, the jehovah's witnesses, and the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints, have had pronounced problems.".

Simon, I would keep your views count confidential until you decide what to do with JWN, maybe the Watchtower will try to purchase your site like Microsoft tried to buy Facebook out and other content collection data going on.
Huffington Post received $350,000,000 for their website, something you might consider down the road :)

Balaam, did you hear of the young Circuit Overseer in Arcadia, Ca with a women in every congregation? Single man claimed he had conquered thirty-six sisters, some of his fornication created "New World Society" members. This CO decades ago tried to convince the sisters to have abortions. Why do JWs think their guys are any different than "ancient Isreal?", because the Watchtower lies and say's we "live in a spiritual paradise with the best people in the World" with no evidence to prove their point.
Five years ago in Thousand Oaks area, a "substitute circuit overseer" with the brighest future fell to fleshly temptations.
May I ask a question, why do you make the presumption this brother in England has any more insight than Ray Franz or Sam Dunlap, Billy-the-Ex-Bethelite, Cedars, "James Wood", "blondie", "Terry", Dogpatch", "Grumpy", "Ray Publisher", "Balaam", SolomonGrundy", and "Juan Viejo"?
We know what goes on in the Organization, we have "men of fame" and "women of fame" on JWN who know the inner "workings" of the Organization. It reminds me of the Jews telling Jesus Christ "We want a sign!" even though Jesus spoke the truth, performed mircales and gave the poor comfort. JWN has delivered more deep hidden information in the most timely manner but it's not enough, you think there's some deeper meaning out there, than JWN members have brought forward. JMHO.

Why do people proudly say they belong to Jesus ?
by mP ini know what the statement means im just baffled why anyone would select words like "belong" or a that they are a "servant" of jesus ?.
i mean ive never heard anybody say they belong to their parents or their spouse, so why are they property of jesus as in servitude ?
why would anyon e then go about making boastful pronoucnements about how great jesus is after he requires total servitude ?

Find things were Paul speaks of Jesus Christ, use any tool you like"
1 Timothy 1:12-13-And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry, although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man." Paul thank's Christ Jesus.
Luke "the physcian" must have interviewed the Apostle Paul and others who were at the "Blasphemy Charge" Paul had to endure as he recounts how Jesus Christ came to him and changed his life to work good to the Christian community.
"
- Acts 26:14-18-"Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads...I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witnessboth of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me."
Take each one of these scriptures so nicely written by this Christian author who addresses the untruth that Paul and Jesus were not aquianted, or does Paul's writings contain Jesus concepts from his Gospels. Just be honest and don't disagree for the sake of disagreements.

Does the Watchtower still make a big thing about the cry of "Peace & Security"?
by cantleave init was a big thing in 70's and 80's, but seemed to have died down during the 90's up until the time i left.
i was wondering with the arab spring and increased unrest in the middle east, whether the brothers are speculating about this again?.

No, they have no idea what time period we are currently in. The great light came from the Assembly with a vague "The United States Will Be At The End" what is that suppose to mean, how ambigious and uninforming was that little gem?

He has nothing left if the Society was his only way of "support", if he is a younger "30 something" he has plenty of time to regroup and find a job. You don't get your position back once you committ adultry in a position like his.
Fundamental Christians usually don't trust ministers who committ adultry, I often hear them say "If a man cannot be loyal to his wife, there is no possible way he will be loyal to the Church." Preacher goes on to say "The by-laws of our Organization do not permit this type of man to remain as preacher nor will we give him another church-congregation to oversea. He has betrayed everyone by his actions".
That's pretty ruff stuff coming from Fundamental Christians, their women don't like cheaters and often they sit on the "board of directors" "church board" and decline people with "questionable pasts". I thought it was only JWs who ban anyone for life from "elder" for adultry, not Christendom!

I was teenager when a man showed up to a bible study. He asked to come in and sit down, not once did he tell me he was "R", the infamous apostate. It took him two hours to reveal who he really was, I was young and he was dishonest by not telling me the truth of the nature of his visit. He "slippped" when told me he thought "elders deserve a nice salary" which threw my defenses up and "preaching the good news of the Kingdom was not required." I asked him "You are a ex-Jevovah Witness are you not?" He finally told me who he was, I only knew him from my "born again" friends in High School, who would ask me the strangest questions after "R" visted their church.
If this is the same R, you speak so highly, as a teenager I had no respect for him because he lied to me for two hours. Why could he not be honest and tell me who he was? The exterme focus on being paid a salary for his duties of running a church greatly troubled me. You know a different side of this guy, I highly doubt Ray Franz or Sam Dunlap would conceal, omitt or trick two teenagers with a Bible.
The other thing that is still burned into my mind is that, he broke down crying in front of me, my friend weeping and the householder "my father if he see's me walking down the street, run's to the other side to avoid me. He considers me dead, life is very unfair." To a teenager his crying mood and quick anger creeped me out but I felt I could handle myself with my friend with me.
I wonder if I had come across Ray Franz or Ed Dunlap as a zealous young jw, if they could have helped free me earlier. The "money thing" was just about the time Jim and Tammy Baker's were getting exposed by that carnaval guy, R could have focused on "truth" because that scripture "You receive freely, so give freely" kept popping into my head. So I can say for a fact, R was not of any help to me and actually disgusted me, strenghted my resolve to serve the Society for the next few decades, not the desired effect I wish I now had.
Ray Franz and Sam Dunlap are my favorite members, everything I hear and read about them make me want to know them better. Not once in Ray's book is there any emphasis on "pay for service" Bible instruction. Sam Dunlap heading back to Ok, to be gainfully employed at his dear old age, followed the same advice as well "to give free, what you receive free". Begging and asking for money is the biggest way to make a JW turn limp!

Watchtower on Taking In Meat
by Marvin Shilmer inwatchtower on taking in meat .
today i added a new article to my blog addressing an underpinning of watchtowers blood doctrine, and how in 1980 this underpinning was undermined by none other than watchtower itself.
as it turns out watchtower admits that prior to the flood there was no prohibition against taking in meat, which as it turns out means there was no pre-flood prohibition against taking in blood.
