Time for the Governing Body to call Sirus and ask for directions to the "road of life".

The shape of this doctrine, think of a downhill race track with "S-curves", follow their snake shaped doctrine, swinging wildly back to "all annointed our part of the composite Slave", gyrating back to "only the Cardinals of Bethel are Jesus Christ Slave".

The shape of their S track takes away parts of their old doctrine (John's disciples, Jesus followers and Apostles are now ommited from this version of the "faithful slave) each time we swing back to our little turning point in the road.

The next logical step is to mess with the congregations views of the elders and ministerial servants as something more than the Bible say's they are. Moving the definition away from "to minister to others" for "to be minstered to". The COs enjoy being ministered to and their wives love the fact they are more than a over-glorified elderette.

The next doctrine heading down the "Snake-Road" will be adjustments with "blood", the current understanding is madness!

Aguest, how would you attempt to explain how corrupt the new teaching that only the Governing Body are those who Christ said would provide "food for the domestics"?

This discussion with elderly JWs is going no place at all, each JW I talk to think's this information "is refresing New Light form Jehovah God! (o' my stomach hurts!). Teach me some cool tactics around their blocked minds.

Soledad this same method of ignoring a single mother's child, allowing other kids with one believing parent to fall off the radar for life, that's Watchtower inability to motative their rank and file, elders and minsterial servants to implement their failed policy.

We all might have had different childhood experiences if this Organization practiced the love they preached but they do not! I know we have problem when we gently mention their "Slave's" half-backed, some are "twice-baked" doctrines. Witnesses are willing to listen to problems with the "unloving brotherhood they have experienced throughout their life." This is my way to start to chip away into their rock heads, the lack of love and hospitality is one of the most bitter pills Witnesses must swallow daily and it does leave a bitter after-taste.

We both had the same experience with crummy people in our youth, and I ignored their lack of affect for fellow friends and did not ask why they were so cold. We were told to be seen and not heard.

The first Kingdom Hall my mother went to, it took three months for these great people to introduce themselves to her in 1954. Witnesses were not better in the past, their social ineptness is part of the group. Why my Mum hung out with them and fought against her better feelings, I must now live knowing I made the break-away she could not.

Is North Korea Changing ?

there's a good chance that a process of change is occurring in nk, which i'll come back to, as first i'd like to briefly explain how korea became divided.. i've spent a lot of time this past calendar year on the history and development of korea, this last semester focussing on modern korea with all its sadness, commencing with the japanese takeover in 1905, and the full annexation and military occupation in 1910. .

many korean's (naturally) opposed the japanese occupation.

some actively fought the japanese as guerilla's in the mountains.

Full-time, look up "thevicechannel" guide to travel and watch Shane's trip to North Korea, it's very enlightening, if your stomach is up to it, he goes to Liberia, Pakistan, and some places most sane travel experts stay away from. Shane has balls, his trips are never boring!

just started watching 'friday night lights' .... great show, but it's making me a little bitter!

17 years after high school, i am still bummed i didn't get to play football or baseball.

i knew my elder dad would get busted from the others in the elders club.

I smoked weed and partied during High School, got that out of my system and headed for college. No high school sports unless you count who could burn the biggest bud with one hit.

Power-hitters (The plastic mustard container with a "joint" holder built in.) Water-bong, cooling that fat skunk weed bud down.

Stupid pipes we made in welding shop, not as cool as the cermaic pipes I was suspended for. Where the best place to get good weed seeds from, I am thinking of growing some good stuff with my hydroponic equipment.

Why don't the Watchtower after all their failures, false warnings, bad advice and propaganda of a "World wide loving brotherhood" just shut up and try to teach their followers how to live their lives in productive ways instead of living in dread? This is not a case of "stomping your foot on the ground twenty times (writing twenty to thirty different definitions of the Faithful Slave's Identity)" attempting to show Jehovah how zealous you are and willing to change doctrine on a dime. This is not "light", this is the flickering light that gives their followers spiritual migraine headaches or blindness.

Wow! Thank you for clearing this nightmare doctrine up, now we wait until they go back to the individual and he will become "High Priest" in the future ahead.

according to the bite model, mind control groups keep their members busy, tell them they are special, have special lingo, etc.. doesn't that make "full-time ministers" into a deeper level of mind control?

it's a "special privilege" to be among those "ranks", there are extra meetings "anual pioneer meeting", "pioneer school", and a whole other level of guilt/indocrination/control for keeping pioneers/bethelites busy.

as "examples", they shouldn't socialize too much, they shouldn't miss field service groups, they should start their time early, they should study all the publications, etc.

They cheat with field service, I can't say they would jump off a cliff when they are not doing their master's (watchtower org) will with a complete heart. It's magic how hours go from 0 to 90 in the past, cooking the pioneers books and they feel good about this corruption!

Yes, you make a very valid point of subsets within the cult.

I agree with "pioneer lunches" why invite the spiritually sick, poor, orphans, widows, weak and elderly to the King's banquet? Invite the Pioneers so they can pontificate what their right hand has been doing! Jesus also said "I came to help strong ones, not the sick ones! Healthy Pioneers need a spiritual checkup, sick one's should be tossed aside!" (Watchtower 3:16-28)

We have the "Cult Of The Pioneer", assumptions are made these men and women are more spiritual clean, psychologically-spiritually sound, and have a greater share of God's Spirit.

Pioneers are the first to be given parts on the "Kingdom Ministry School (nothing wrong with this concept, why not sure well seasoned one's to provide good parts?), Circuit Assembly, District Assembly, and offered the first chance for International Assemblies!

I am guilty of attributing qualities to Pioneers that many of them were greatly lacking (love, compassion, humility, honesty, truth, holy spirit, empathy, altrusim, willing to work with weak ones) and refused to work with weak ones when we begged them to! The Society's model has learned to cut their losses with weak ones, we were told a weak Witness burn's up more resources than trying to find a new recruit. Sorry, for this rant of Pioneering and the cult of of it.
