Kurt does "field service" in a laundromat and is not even a Jehovah's Witness
by kurtbethel inthe recent socal rain storms had me needing to go to a launrdomat to dry some clothes.
so i get inside and see that one of the friendly neighborhood jehovah's witnesses has left a little dish of spiritual food.
being the benevolent soul that i am, i took my handy pen and added some additional spice to the bland spiritual food offered by the watchtower.. .

Kurt, pick up some stickers to place on each magazine with your websites of choice. Create the sense they are official websites, and the user might head to your site. "www.jehovahs-witnesses.net/jw/friends" "www.jwfacts.com"
Laser Printers work well and are very cost effective way of teaching your message. JMHO.

Moeshe, is that called a video or? I love it, it reminds me of the Organization that kick's you off before you think your near the top!
How can the Watchtower in all honesty even mention Harold Camping or "Family Radio" without blushing or turning beet-red? I listened to Harold Camping at night and enjoyed his "Open Forum" on the way to Monday and Wed Night meetings. Harold was not afraid to stand by his claims or blame his followers for "reaching false conclusions because of their over-zealous scripture truffle hunts". Harold screwed people's lives up but he has come forward and confessed that he does not know anything about the date Jesus Christ will return.
When our Circuit Overseer showed up with the new teaching on the "generation revisted", he was stumbling and falling over his poorly trained script and caused our Kingdom Hall so much confusion. Be honest Watchtower and Confess like Harold Camping!

After A Day In Field Service, Did You Get Euphoric Or A Spiritual High?
by ÁrbolesdeArabia ini know this might sound silly but field service did provide a strange type of good feelings after i was done.
i called this the "halo-effect" because i felt so "righteous, obedient and good" for taking the weirdos or "the friends" in my station wagon.
vans and station wagon owners in the congregations often get used hard, pile up seven whacks and your off!

I know this might sound silly but Field Service did provide a strange type of good feelings after I was done. I called this the "Halo-Effect" because I felt so "righteous, obedient and good" for taking the weirdos or "the friends" in my station wagon. Vans and Station Wagon owners in the congregations often get used hard, pile up seven whacks and your off! Were your field service cargroups composed of the "Young and Old, Clean and Filthy", "Insane and overly educated (in their opinion), the poor who never donated one penny and often I had to pay for their kids "snacks and lunches" or were you exempt by hanging out with the "clean piousneers"?
I do admitt, for some odd reason it felt good afterwards preaching door-to-door (when we actually did this), "business territory" or "magazine placements" by standing in front of a little market. This "good feeling" started to stop two years ago when I realized I was preaching a lie, and the Governing Body was not who they said there were.
Some of the mighty members here(JWN), took mentally challenged, "elderly-witnesses that did bath frequently" and poor orphans into their cars, paid for the "snacks", lunches and used their time to help clean crazy witnesses homes. How did you feel after "Field Service", a euphoric high, a gentle feeling of good or mentally drained?

I love the freedom Simon has given to every single member of JWN by not imposing his rules and regulations (Kissing his ass to remain on JWN) and beliefs. I use to be part of different boards whose strict "code of conduct (not following their vision of what Christianity or Witnesses of Jehovah are suppose to follow) began to strangle my personal freedom. In my desire to find as much of the "truth" as possible, I have met many great people and learned so much about the Organization, I am deeply in debt to our Community here. Sites I enjoy are (here) obviously, Cedar's Blog, JW-Facts, Greg Stafford's books, Randy's and I am now discovering a website called "paradise cafe", it's cool but hold's not candle to JWN.
Simon's website has more members and visits because we are able to view JWN's content without signing up to be put on a "spam list" or begged for money non-stop. I don't think many of the Ex-JWs realize how much time people like Simon, Cedars, the Moderators of JWN, and resident experts "Terry, Dogpatch, Blondie" take to provide fresh and relevant content. Randy is still healing from his injury, maybe that's why I don't see him posting much but I appreciate greatly the effort great members like those mentioned spend to help the healing process speed our recovery. Thank you members of JWN, who spend time answering questions and helping other people heal, you are a altrustic bunch.
Balaam get back to work!

Cedar's, have you noticed the difference between Simon's site and all the others? Simon does not have a "Credit Card" donation button on the web-browser I am currently using. There is intellectual value here at JWN that could be "monetized" (not in a way to make Simon rich, to help him defray cost's associated with running his "domain" "hosting" ect..) to enable Simon to offer more content to JWN users and vistors if Simon so desires.
My joke was of the Watchtower buying him out, that would be funny if they tried to offer Simon and SolomonGrundy a few million to pull their sites down and walk away. I believe there is good things Simon could do with any monies received, offer small salaries to bloggers like you and Terry and Dogpatch. I am just thinking out loud.

Post by Ray Franz
by Amazing inray franz requested that i post the following comments written by him:
as has been stated already, the presentation made from the silent lambs source in connection with the child abuse issue completely misrepresents my position.
when i spoke by phone recently with the author of that presentation, and pointed out that i had never expressed the views presented, his comment was that from his previous conversation with me (held some months earlier) he "got the impression that i was not on the same wave length" with him.

Once again, it's writings like these of Ray Franz that make him my favorite "revealing helper of truth". He had the chance to jump on the "bandwagon mentality", he hold's his ground and speaks from his heart. I am awe'ed by his candid honesty and kind nature, he will be missed!

Will 2013 be the Year of Justice for Child Sex Abuse Victims - both Jehovah Witness and non Jehovah Witness survivors in the states of Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York?
by Sol Reform in" now, virtually every religious organization has had to deal with this issue in some form.
and those with theological beliefs that require them to keep scandal from seeping outside the organization, like the roman catholic church, the orthodox jews, the jehovah's witnesses, and the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints, have had pronounced problems.".

If the United States undid the "Statue of Limitations" imposed by various States, the Organized groups would have a "Catagory Six" Hurricane of litigation. I know the Watchtower has lucked out on States that limit your time to litigate to "x amount of years after coming of age" "and how did it affect you", we have pedophiles who pray any SOL is not overturned, because the Churches would go bankrupt as various parishes did.
