  I start my first day of school on jan 4th, so my resolution is to get good grades and continue to attend w/o dropping out. btw I am in my late 20's, so Im a little late. I finally got rid of the guilt of persueing higher education.

  maybe you should go talk to the elders, they will help you re-adjust your thinking. Technically you are doing the same thing as your parents, associating with disfellowshipped ones. My father once told me to keep a diary, maybe you can do the same.

  But heres the thing, you cant go around blaming otheres for your problems. If you want to bash on the people that take advantage of you and your family, feel free to it. But in these forums, we dont bash on eachother. We have something here that active Dubs have, peace of mind. Remember these saying "Dont shit where you eat" and "dont burn your bridges" If you want us to listen to you and help you vent, you need to respect us.

  i was browsing through some of the boe letters (made available here: http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/bible/243938/1/all-letters-to-elders-from-the-branch-1981-2012-boe) and came across the 3/15/96 letter about persons with communicable diseases.

  it specifically mentions aids several times in the letter and seems to be primarily targeted at that population.

  1. thats gotta be one huge bathtub to dunk someone.

  2. Isnt there another way to make the pool sanitary w/o chlorine. I thought there were other chemicals less abrasive.

  3. Perhaps the cong. in Africa and other countries with high pop. of aids victims got letters and added it to THEIR babtism questions.

  girl, I feel you.

  I hate it when they know you have a skill, welding, wood working, hair stylist, ect. Then they all start asking you to help them without paying for it or they pay the bare minimum. No I will not give you a 5 dolla hair cut.

  There is a sister in the hall I went to that never ever came to meetings. She was at every social event though. If you extended your hand to help she would take a mile, not an inch. She wanted me to go get you elderly mom and her to go shopping. But first they had to visit for hours, then they decided they want to stop off at the coffee stand. We get to the grocery store and they take all damn day. When you take them back home they dont let you drop them off. You have to come inside and listen to all their stupid stories about their stupid boring lives.
