  Oh and there was the time I gave a talk in cullottes (a split skirt thingy) and was dragged into a committee meeting for DRESSING LIKE A BROTHER! LOLOL! What poof brother would wear a SKORT? I felt sorry for the brother who had to give me THAT news....they obviously drew straws because he was terrified. I was over 6' in heels and he came up to like...my boobs. LOL!

  I wore a skort to a meeting, also...........it was blue and white striped..............I was a take off on the sailor knee pants in fashion..........later........very casually, I was asked by somesister whether I realized that in HER congregation, those were NOT allowed............lol.........yes, and neither were charcoal fedoras with the old fashioned swing coat, in muted charcoal and pink stripes wool..........with leather high heeled boots.........I have a picture of me and a co with me dressed like that...........it's so ridiculous how they kill any artistry in us.............

  Playing By Heart...........

  just finished watching this incredibly complex yet so simple movie.........which pretty much describes affairs of the heart..........also very pleasing on the level of visual.........angelina jolie, dennis quaid, sean connery............all known for their incredible physical presence with that indefinable element of "mega-star quality".........then, you get into the story line(s).........which are the surprise element.......i would say this movie is quite avant-garde......to say i loved it would be an understatement........lol.......

  Early menopause

  i just found out today that i'm in menopause.

  i haven't had a menstrual cycle in over a year.

  Thanks, Frannie!!! Hugs back to you, MsMcD...........I talked with my mom about it when I first started missing periods.........and of course the OB........it all started right after I lost the baby at 6 weeks..........only time I was pregnant.........at 42...........then, they did the D&C..........I haven't been to a gyno in at least three years and breast mammo either..........I know, I've gotta get back to taking care of myself better..........but, I HAVE felt exhausted big time. I tried the natural Estroven stuff, made it worse..........tried the cream on the thighs........lol.......that didn't help either........my body didn't like any of that stuff........I felt worse............I was chatting with Flyin High last night about this very subject and she recommended Suzanne Somers' book and to have specially made hormones, for my own body..........from what I've read, that seems the way to go...........exercise...........ugggghhhh..........I used to be soooo full of energy.......now, I've gained so much weight, and I sweat all the time..........so.........I'll be calling the Dr. on Monday for sure for an appt..........and getting some Brewer's Yeast!! LOL!

  Hi!! I think I'm in menopause too........I haven't had much of anything for at least a year except very very infrequent spotting............I'm 49 in August. I have all the classic symptoms, hot flashes, weight gain, and I just noticed that my hair is thinning.........when I brought the subject up to my gyno about 3 years ago, she said I was too young, but, didn't offer to test me........I hear they can. So, my next move is to have her test me to know for sure. I, too, have spent the last three years extremely fatigued..........but, put that down to the antidepressant and antianxiety drug I am taking..............I know, I've not been very responsible with follow through, but, guess I need to......I'm freaking out about the thinning hair big time.........I'll keep ya posted........you're not alone. Thanks for posting the subject!!!

  OMG Man cut in half by train calls for help

  just heard it on the news.

  he is now at the hospital and still alive.. they played the audio tape of him calling for help.. unbelievable.

  in not certain if it was in the us or cnada - accents sounded like southern us but it might have been east canada

  hi, 3rd generation jws inactive jws here, and never heard that rule

  LOL........well, I came in around '70-'71 and went through the whole '75 thing......and I've never heard that either........lol
