This movie makes me sick!
by compound complex ingreetings, lovers of cinema verite:.
i first became aware of this technique when viewing the bourne ultimatum, particularly in a scene where jason and nikki, on the run in some sun-drenched north african coastal city lousy with assassins, are finally sitting still in a stifling, airless apartment, conversing in subdued tones.
actually, they were not sitting still .... i had no idea why the pro with the camera had such a bad case of the shakes.

I just sent an email to the governing body
by Awakened at Gilead ini sent a link to my new video and told them that they were featured in it.
i hope this induces mass hysteria at the tower office.. i guessed the addresses, and i haven't gotten any error messages.
so if you want to send a message to the gb or anyone else, the address should be:.

thanks, AAG! I had friends at Bethel, when I was a dub.........even stayed with them a couple of times and we always put them up when they came to our congo for talks. HE's a Bethel Elder.........wish I knew what his thoughts are when he gets the message. I just told him that I was happier out than I ever was in, and that I remembered them with fondness.

yes, it's really tough when they are snugglers........Troub used to lie snuggled up alongside my side in bed at night..........he was a big, long cat, probably 3 or more feet long........i miss falling asleep running my fingers through his belly hair..........and scratching his neck........it's really really tough sometimes..........like today, when the card and paper with his pawprints came from the vet.........i just broke down and cried..........i have a picture of him that i hold close to my heart sometimes at night.........it helps......

oh, and, even if I decided to go back, can you imagine how I would feel, walking into that former hall, knowing that the now presiding overseer is a drunk and has spread all the details of my disfellowshipping around for everyone to know? if i ever meet that asshole face to face, i might be arrested, cuz i'd want to give him an uppercut to his jaw.............talk about a wolf in sheep's clothing? disgusting, wife abusing drunken prick.

So someone might leave the Organization because they could not agree with the interpretation on one or more scriptural matters, put forth by the 'faithful and discreet slave'. The solution? Simply tell the person that the very group that they no longer believe are 'God's mouthpiece', are 'dispensing excellent spiritual food.' Yep. I can see how that would do the trick.
that made me laugh my ass off.............Mary, you did a GREAT job..........I know that the average jw was sitting there just slurping all of this crap up without any reasoning............poor brainwashed sods.
I also want to say it's been around 11 years for me now and i have NEVER missed one moment of those horrid meetings..........25 years was long enough to waste my life..........I'm free finally and healthy mentally again and I will NEVER EVER return. My mom and I were talking this morning and she asked after a former mutual friend who was DF'd and who I get together with all the time. She wanted to know if she was making any effort to come back, and I said no, she was very happy and had no intention of returning. I know that probably hurt my mom, but, she knows how I feel and I'm honest with her about my views.

HON! I am sooooo sorry to hear about your Rocky..........I had to have my kitty boy Trouble put to sleep on Tuesday. I truly know the pain you are going through..........I am still grieving.........I just received a wonderful card from the vet and a paper with his pawprints on it and a little poem taped in the center entitled Rainbow Bridge.........not sure if anyone posted it to your thread yet, so here it is:
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... -

SPELLINGE !
by wobble ini know i am an old fart and a pedant, but things spelled incorrectly stand out, like copy of c.o.c in a kingdom hall library.. i don't think it matters too much say, posting on here,or in life generally,so many people make mistakes, but i do think it detracts from your credibility and your message in important stuff i.e a d.a letter for example, any excuse and dub's will ignore what you say.. so,is it not worth checking?
one word that many on here have a problem with is apostasy, often putting a c where the last s should be.. is having a problem with this word a true example of irony?.
love.

The Power of Saying "I Choose to Believe"
by BabaYaga ini just said this to a friend, and then i stopped to think about it.
i choose to believe.
that implies that i know there are many other ideas and beliefs that might be right also or right instead of what i choose to believe.

i totally agree, BY. i remember one time at a study with a very intelligent woman, a lawyer, after being presented with the study/brainwashing material from the wts, her saying that, and really, there was nothing that either i or the study conductor could respond with. i actually saw her side of things, although her study conductor didn't. guess that's why i'm out and she's still in...........yes, those are extremely empowering words and it is a good way to relate our own personal belief system. it makes no one right or wrong, and allows each person respect for their own belief system. GREAT topic!

i love to snuggle in bed, read, eat lots of comfort food, smoke a bowl, watch the snow cover everything through the windows (6) in my new apartment. i love how it muffles the hustle bustle noises of the city)
