Thanks Bobcat. At 1 John 2:1 Jesus is refered to as a helper, paraclete. An actual person. The word He throughout these verses is unique. Could he be referring to The Prophet at John 1:21. ........Peace

Are disfellowshipings proportionately increasing or decreasing?
by yadda yadda 2 ini have been re-reading chapter 10 of ray franz's brilliant book "in search of christian freedom" (must reading for every borean-like jw and former jw), and i note that on page 315 it says that in 1995 there were 36,638 disfellowshipped, and 37,426 deepfried in 1996.. are there any statistics that show whether the number of expelled persons is increasing or decreasing proportionate to the number of publishers each year since then?

How do I disprove "New Light"?
by DarkFireWolf ini currently am a jw and my parents are too.they seem either confused or dislike it when i raise questions and recently, when i questioned them about 1925 and 1975, i've been told it's changed due to "new light.
" i don't remember nor do i have very much knowledge of "new light.".
this "new light" just dosen't sit with me and neither do the false prophecies.new light first of all, breaks a scripture in deut.

My brother in:law new elder told me the same thing. noolight. where is it I ask, He said in the bible I said where in the bible? He didn't know. To busy judging,. panicking.ect. After showing him and his wife Prov 4:18 and 19 in context. It has nothing to do with an organization. They don't get it. Best thing to do is educate yourself with the jwfacts. Threats for leaving
by l p ini have been out since 2002. i have absolutely nothing to do with the borg.. in the last week i have been threatened twice by 2 different witlesses.
the first one in an email said: 'you know what the consequences are for leaving the organisation'.. i took absolute offense to this for a few reasons.
firstly, threatening someone is against the law.
