Salaam alaykum, Gefangene to you and your family, while waiting for a bible student at the public library, I came across the Quran, I borrowed it for over a year, what I read and came to understand just blew me away. I was a JW for over 30+ years. I never really met any muslims. That was about 5 years ago. This probably is a another thread. Any questions please ask. PEACE.....

The Introduction of Sin (concept)?
by Yan Bibiyan incan you, awsome peoples, please help me with grasping when and how did sin get introduced in the picture?.
i am not talking adam/eve and the serpent thingy.. i am going way back, following the chain of events.. seems to me that the very original sin was satan's rebellion against god.. if so, how did satan get this idea in a first place, how was he even able to have the concept of disobedience.... .

Judaism, Islam reject the concept of original sin, only Christianity makes that claim of the three Abrahamic faiths. Why? When it comes to religion, holy scriptures, TRUTH. Give it the acid test. Falsehood by its very nature is bound to die. I wish You success in the journey.

The devil has been an avowed enemy to mankind since the story began. Is it jealousy ect. Why? I believe you are right, the buck stops with the Creator. He knows all the details and we would love to know. Check out what Quran says about this MAJOR event. Hummm.......

a really good elvis impersonator may look and sound pretty darned close to the real elvis--but, is "close" the same as genuine?.

Is North Korea Changing ?
by fulltimestudent inthere's a good chance that a process of change is occurring in nk, which i'll come back to, as first i'd like to briefly explain how korea became divided.. i've spent a lot of time this past calendar year on the history and development of korea, this last semester focussing on modern korea with all its sadness, commencing with the japanese takeover in 1905, and the full annexation and military occupation in 1910. .
many korean's (naturally) opposed the japanese occupation.
some actively fought the japanese as guerilla's in the mountains.

Is leaving the JW's like release from Prison ?
by Phizzy ini was listening this morning to the experience of sonia "sunny" jacobs, who was on death row for a long time, until her case was properly dealt with.. she explained that upon leaving prison after all those years it was amazing !

" she said, in prison all is grey or black , but outside in the free world, so many colours!.
