in all the ancient mysteries, this idea was carried out, and green symbolized the birth of a new world, the moral creation of the initiate.

hence the new world translation of the holy scriptures.. on the other hand, the color grey in high-ranking freemasonry is said to simbolize a 7-year period of tribulation and turmoil.. given the masonic origins of the watchtower bible & tract society, it's quite possible that the worldwide masonic powers to be have already set in motion the wheels of "tribulation" which started with the government shutdown in the us and will end with a zionist objective that we are yet to see 7 years from now..

that text reminds me of one of a handful of problems peculiar to the ex-jw community.

Cobaltcupcake, I used that old "red" delux bible in FS, meetings, all the time, it was my favorite. One day this "turd" insisted that I should not use that one,

because it could stumble the householder. I told him to shut up and stop being an idiot. He told the elders and I got some dirty looks at meetings for a while

and that was back in the 70s. 'What would they do now' These "idiots" (elders) probably make a public announcement. 'Red Bible', he's an apostate!! aaah!

lamallcool, I remember the green, burgundy, black, red.. but the "pink"? maybe some of them sisters could fix it that way. They was some pretty talented

Genesis 3:6 - Is it correct or incorrect?

in the 2013 nwt we read: "consequently, the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that it was something desirable to the eyes, yes, the tree was pleasing to look at.".

in the douay-rheims bible we read: "and the woman saw that the tree was good to eat, and fair to the eyes, and delightful to behold".

It doesn't make any sense, it was just eating fruit from a forbidden tree, a lie to try to be immortal, they disobeyed, losers! ok!! Why not Forgive them?

especially when they feel grief or sadness for what they did, just like we commit sins today, if we do or say something wrong to other people like

think so..it's a MINOR THING. Mercy and forgiveness is what saves, not a death sacrifice of an innocent faithful Person, In fact that concept is in complete

contrast in Eze. 18:20

So Instead of original sin, original forgiveness makes more sense (at least imo)

i am not sure how you all feel as we all left at different times for different reasons.... but this new bible seems to have put some final nails into a coffin that was once my jw life.

the religion is so far and so different to the religion i grew up in that it has become something i feel no affiliation with anymore, no bond, no shared ideas or even sentimental views.

different teachings on when the end is coming.

the religion is so far and so different to the religion i grew up in that it has become something i feel no affiliation with anymore, no bond, no shared ideas or even sentimental views.
