Just look at how JWs twist scripture to prove their false take on The 70 years.
Look how they interpret Jeremiah 25:29......from this JW web site -------> http://www.jehovahsjudgment.co.uk/607/70yearsofservitude.html
Yes, the nations certainly will drink Jehovah’s rage. They have no choice. After all, if his own people going to drink of it, the nations certainly will. However, when will he make his own people drink of this cup? Jehovah makes it quite clear when, saying:
“For, look! it is upon the city upon which my name is called that I am starting off in bringing calamity, and should you yourselves in any way go free of punishment ? You will not go free of punishment, for there is a sword that I am calling against all the inhabitants of the earth,' is the utterance of Jehovah of armies.””
The answer to our original question, 'Does the servitude begin when Jerusalem is destroyed?' has been right here all along – in the very same chapter where the 70 years of servitude is mentioned. After stating that Judah will become a devastated land, and that the nations will serve Babylon for 70 years, did you notice that the starting point of the 70 years is directly pinpointed?
Jehovah is “starting off” with “the city [upon] which my name is called”, that city, of course, being Jerusalem. Only when that city meets calamity will the 70 years for all the nations begin. It does not say the calamity starts upon the countryside of Judah, as some claim. Nor does not say it begins with a mere exile. It starts off in the city of Jerusalem, and it is “a sword that I am sending among you.”
The calamity of Jerusalem is the “starting” point, and from that point onward the nations will not remain “free of punishment”. For sure, “Jerusalem” will drink the cup first, but all the other nations must drink the cup and serve the King of Babylon too. Can it get any clearer than this?
What does this mean? It means 587 cannot be the date of Jerusalem’s destruction. As you know, 587 to 537 is only 50 years. On the other hand, 607 to 537 is exactly 70 years.
Lets look at the following translations of Jeremiah 25:29 that show how they twist scripture. Can anyone back up a comment from a Greek or Hebrew translation ??? ?

IP address:
The WTBTS will be able to track all the IP addresses that visit its own site, it can then determine the demographic of those who visit, but NOT them personally as regular users use "leased" IP addresses that are owned by your Internet provider. No worries there !
Cookies:
Cookies, however can be a necessary evil. Some "bad" sites can gleen some tracking information from their cookies that come down with the webpage, so make sure you delete your cookies frequently. For more intrusive programs like spyware and viruses use appropriate software and update daily.
HTTP cookie
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaA cookie, also known as an HTTP cookie, web cookie, or browser cookie, is usually a small piece of data sent from a website and stored in a user's web browser while a user is browsing a website. When the user browses the same website in the future, the data stored in the cookie can be retrieved by the website to notify the website of the user's previous activity. [ 1 ] Cookies were designed to be a reliable mechanism for websites to remember thestate of the website or activity the user had taken in the past. This can include clicking particular buttons, logging in, or a record of which pages were visited by the user even months or years ago.
Although cookies cannot carry viruses, and cannot install malware on the host computer, [ 2 ] tracking cookies and especially third-party tracking cookies are commonly used as ways to compile long-term records of individuals' browsing histories — a major privacy concern that prompted European and US law makers to take action in 2011. [ 3 ] [ 4 ]
Other kinds of cookies perform essential functions in the modern Web. Perhaps most importantly, authentication cookies are the most common method used by web servers to know whether the user is logged in or not, and which account they are logged in under. Without such a mechanism, the site would not know whether to send a page containing sensitive information, or require the user to authenticate himself by logging in. The security of an authentication cookie generally depends on the security of the issuing website and the user's web browser, and on whether the cookie data is encrypted. Security vulnerabilities may allow a cookie's data to be read by a hacker, used to gain access to user data, or used to gain access (with the user's credentials) to the website to which the cookie belongs (see cross-site scripting and cross-site request forgery for examples). Being Agnostic is depressing me....
by SkyGreen infor those that dont know my story, basically i "woke up the ttatt" about a year ago, started fading, then went back, now fading again because i just cant stomach it anymore.
my husband is very supportive, although he's still "in" for now, and trying to be regular with meetings and witnessing, he can see my point of view now, and often notices things in the wt or other publications that are "off".
the fading thing is hard, sometimes i want to da, but because of the upheaval it would cause my family, im waiting a little while - i guess hoping that my husband will be on the same page at some point, so that we can support eachother.

Sky green *** am leaning towards a more traditional christian faith, based on Jesus teachings. Mind you, isnt that all we can all really do in life? Love thy neighbour and all that? *****
Agreed. It's Godly living. Read any of the "Pastoral" letters and "sound doctrine" is all too do with Godly living. Look at what Jesus says to John at Revelation 21 as follows:
He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7 Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
There is NO condemnation based on a teaching or a doctrine but only on UNGODLY living. Accept Jehovah's love that is given as a gift to us in his Son.
1John 5:
9 We accept human testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which he has given about his Son. 10 Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. 11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
His life is ours, his union with his Father is ours also, it's the Holy Spirit's work that will withness to us as we accept this gift of new life, to enable the fruit of the Spirit and Godly living.
Shalom my friend.

A question for FaceTheFacts : Assuming you accept the Bible over secular facts, When does the NT, (Christian Greek Scriptures) acknowledge the beginning of the exile from Jerusalem and acknowledges the start of the return of those exiled, during Babylon's reign of power and fall.
