There is a new thread over on reddit, 3 hours old as of this writing. LJE doesn't seem to be faring too well and the mods haven't yet intervened.
"Lloyd Evans is asking for money because he says his activism needs it and is almost bankrupt.

Over at reddit, one of JLE's patrons posted that they have withdrawn their support and why. Surprisingly, (at least to me) it's not about the use of exploited and trafficked women using monies donated to "advocate" for victims of sexual abuse and exploitation, but rather his not-so-nice response to Jake. I find their reasoning flawed and based on a great deal of ignorance and lack of empathy. Also surprised it hasn't been taken down. Here's the link as of this moment.

The jwwatch dot org domain is paid through the end of December, (the 29th), so that's not the issue. Could be it got hacked, contains malware, or exceeds the limits of the hosting plan. As I was writing that last bit, I got the ghost of a memory about him saying something once in the distant past about upgrading to a "bigger" plan??? Anybody remember that? A host should send out notices about stuff, but if JLE isn't the contact person, then those emails could be going to someone else, or he might just be ignoring them for whatever reasons.
You can see the info here at ICAAN lookup: https://lookup.icann.org/en/lookup. Type in jw watch dot org in the search bar. They have a privacy feature so you will only see non-identifying information even though the company itself has the actual data.

Absolutely (mostly) what you've said the past few days. I've always thought his statement was bullshit on milk toast but never worked up the energy to make a statement about his statement. I've mostly been a sideline observer to the slow motion crazy train wreck, which I prefer. I've always liked Mark's reporting on the legal and CSA issues and am happy for what he contributes. However, I do believe there isn't much room for others on his expert pedestal and that he likes being the go-to guy for the cause. I don't agree that he's "a hypocritical, pathetic POS who doesn't really care about victims" though. IMHO I think it's more to do with an oversized ego and sense of self importance.

If his patreon numbers continue to fall, I predict that these 'Random Cedars' videos filmed in the car will somehow morph into "I've joined the ranks of youtube car dwellers (voluntarily, of course).
