  hello and thanks to everyone for participating on this forum it has really been of much value, for those of you that post here know that your words are not lost you never know who is reading your expressions, lives are being changed and nonsense challenged.

  i’m not much of a writer so excuse my untrained writing style and grammar but i want to share my story to help anyone who is visiting here to see that we are real people, fathers, mothers, sons and daughters who have come here for answers, there is no agenda, just searching for truth.

  i hope my story will help others as so many here have helped me..

  welcome and feel free to share your thoughts in the forum. WT has re-write its own history and hide lot of disturbing facts. I consider to be one of the "luckiest" ones since my dad had all the early books Russel/Rutherford era and when I decided to fade out, it was due to reading those books and not the so called "apostates"...I left in the late 90's at that time was in my early 30's and WT changed so much that I hardly recognized it. It is a long journey my friend, but when you find the TATT (the truth about the "truth") then you only wish to leave all behind

  After 17 years, I went to a KH....really shocked!!

  after severe pressure from my family, i have decided to attend to the nearest kh.

  and a little history regarding my self: i became inactive and lost completely contact of the wt changes and "new light" 17 years ago.. everything seemed so odd and strange during the meeting.

  latest technology, animated movies, watchtower web tv, a website that you can download everything, including km and wt study articles.

  Well, I really have no words to describe the new face lift of the WT!!!

  Kingdom Ministry School changed, (when I left it was the book study) now it is all in blended to one! I recall it was my favorite, and I enjoyed the warm association, I used to contact the book study in a group that was 1.5 hour drive, since it was at the country site and our congregation was the nearest. Now all that is gone.

  I was surprised to see the new "innovations" at the meetings, including cartoons for the kids!!! I believe WT they went completely to the other side, using technology and focus a lot on jw.org. I recall that WT was very negative for using the internet and now they are taking full advantage of it, with webtv as well. So it is another way to keep the followers occupied.

  Next week is the CO overseer visit, so I'm eager to see that and give my comments

  I think there are copyrights in regards with music. I'm not sure but you are allowed to use few notes from a specific famous song/music into a new compose without any lawsuit. And I guess this is what they are doing. They are not so stupid to risk it

  Beth Sarim, I drive an old early 90's rusty car, since that's all I can afford!!! I found it so ridiculous, me a "weak spiritual person" according to WT, trying to find a parking space, amongst the expensive cars of the JW's! And I said to my self, bloody hell, the only way to get a new car is to join WT again!

  recent developments make me think they might be.

  the problems they are facing are not just lack of funds but also draining authority, and the two could be a heady and explosive mix.

  one of the best analyses ever written of the watchtower was a book called "trumpet of prophecy" by sociologist james beckford in the 1970s.

  I agree with you. If it wasn't the 3rd World countries, WT will show no increase at all. But the money are in the Western World, and WT gets all the funds from the contributions of the wealthy JW's.

  I was really amused by most of your comments guys. Well I know how to "move around" in the JW's world. Give them what they want to listen. Yes indeed is "God's Organization" yes the "end is soooooooo near" and don't forget the "FDS"....without any question and doubt they have been selected by Jesus....(I thing it was around 1878 AD, or 1915 AD, and I'm not sure the last one, but never mind they are God's mouthpiece on earth)...

  It is such a joke, and I strongly believe that GB are in deep sh@t. They are trying to keep the rank and file with new toys, in order to avoid a mass exodus....walking through the parking lot, I could see, Audis, BMWs, Mercedes, Jaguars, and I said to my self: Boy the end is really near judging by the cars they are driving!!!

  Everything seemed so odd and strange during the meeting. Latest technology, animated movies, Watchtower web TV, a website that you can download everything, including KM and WT study articles. My relatives told me that in the D,A the drama was movie animated as well, so no more costumes or the anticipation from the assigned Cong to prepare the drama. And the cherry on the cake, the last song!!! Hell what was that!!!??? I thought I was in the Caribbean, drinking Pina Colada!

  For someone who has been away for so long it looked like it was another religion, The only thing that looked very familiar, and confirmed that I was in WT meeting, was that the End is still near!!! I guess that is something that will never change.

  I have seen elders in their late 20's!!! and MS in their late teens!!! I really don't know but it seems that the leaders of the WT are in deep confusion. In fear of loosing more members they are probably trying to become a mainstream religion. Despite GB effort, many of the older age elders are struggling to keep their teenage children in the "truth".

  Being inactive I have been approached by the elders and offered a bible study!!! That will be very interesting to see what they will offer me to study, since all the books of my era are all consist apostate material now!!!

  I will keep posting my observations and hope to get some more updates from the "apostates"

  I thought I was in cruise ship heading to the Caribbean, when they started to play that song! What was missing it was the Pina coladas!!!
