  i used to let the jehovah's witness in week to week!

  i used to enjoy my studies and take it all in,they used to be there hours talking to me, they was wanting me to go to the kingdom hall i was not ready to make that step, but was very close to giving my life to jehovah's witness!then one night i decided to go out for a few drinks with my friends.

  and tragically on my way home i was attacked and raped.

  today i was at burlington baby depot registering for my baby shower, stolling up and down the aisles and scanning.

  low and behold, down the aisle comes a dub.

  as soon as she set eyes on me, she backed out of the aisles as fast as she could, as if i was throwing poop at her.

  i haven't been to meetings in a long time (trying to fade).

  ever so often i do run into a witness or 2 who are friendly, but reserved (after all i am considered in active).

  anyway, my hubby & i are currently working on a letter to send to the society that will more then likely get us df'd or disassociated (same thing i guess).

  what a sad day for our family today.. also, i would like to mention that the men that killed him, did have the guts to come and tell us.

  ( at 6:00am this morning) a lot of people wouldn?t do that so, this is one thing i thanked him for.

  he did feel awful and had more tears then i did when i picked him up and wrapped him in his bedding.. any ways............................ i called the vet to find out how much it would be for a cremation and they want $160.00 bucks!!

  If you DA yourself are you giving in to the GB?

  i'm not criticizing anyone's decision to da themselves...just wondering what the advantages are.. if the whole da thing is something made up by the gb why make them happy by playing by their rules?

  how are they hurt by your decision?

  why not just walk away?

  I must add tho,I donot think it is weak or wrong to play by their rules,it is what ever is best for the person at the time.To move on with your life and be happy!

  Yeh,it is.
  
  Sometimes I regret,playing by their rules,but I knew at the time,that was the only way to get them to leave me alone.If I only knew the things that I know now.I would have been stronger and it would have been easier for me to tell them what I think.
  
  Its been around 13 yrs for me now,I don't care at all what they think,I don't even label myself.Just another part of my life,that I have lived and learned from.

  Sad thread. my cat is dead. looking for sympathy.

  to all of you who know what it is to miss a loved pet.. i never knew in all my jdubb years that it can hurt so much when an animal dies.

  i never knew that a man could get attached to a cat.

  when i was a dubb i would not allow the kids to have a housepet 'cause then you couldn't spend as much time in service.
